City of Poway FOIA (Post Chabad shooting)
NOTE: Poway City Council did not state an opinion.
As predicted, a politician, activists, and gun grabbers are going to use the incident to preach for gun control. Event is scheduled for this upcoming Friday (5/3)

Perfect opportunity for a politician (Patel) from another city (not from Poway even) to be in the spotlight to advance her career, surrounded by her political allies to push a political agenda (gun control) that would have done nothing to stop the shooting. Funny, as the Women’s March has been under fire for anti-semitism recently (not a classy move after a shooting at a Jewish house of worship). Wake up people, all these people want is press and nothing more (not referring to the city council members of Poway) :
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna955816
Claims of anti-Semitism against the leaders of Women’s March Inc. have rocked the movement, with some local organizers looking to distance themselves from the group. Two of the leaders were accused of saying at a private organizing meeting that Jews bore a particular responsibility for the oppression of people of color, The New York Times and Tablet magazine reported — claims both leaders have denied.
NEW YORK (JTA) — With the Women’s March only days away, local chapters and major progressive groups are continuing to distance themselves from the national leadership, which is scrambling to hold on to its big tent.
Though the national organization was once seen as a beacon of hope for progressives following Donald Trump’s election, it is now mired in allegations that its leaders have not only been too soft on but in some cases fostered anti-Semitism in the movement. The fact that the march was created as a protest not only against sexism but other forms of bigotry makes the allegations even more disturbing.
Special note: This is a must see. Want to know how the Chabad of Poway congregates feel?

More here. Don’t let these vultures use this shooting to advance an agenda that isn’t supported by the victims. Remember.
Update: Rabbi Goldstein with President Trump today (5/2/19)

Update 5/3:
Moms Demand Action and their pals had their rally/press conference and got the camera time they wanted

Poway, CA synagogue shooting and the truth (from someone who knows the people involved).
There are times when first hand accounts of witnesses/friends of people involved are much more credible than what the MSM states is the truth. A thread on AR15.com popped up as the reports of a shooting at Chabad of Poway synagogue in California by someone who was a congregate there. These are his posts (first post was updated with pics after everything was wrapped up):

Let Drsalee’s words tell the story about those involved, as he knows them and their beliefs. Now, as all political opportunists do, they jump at a tragedy to benefit themselves and their agenda (gun control, which does not reflect the victims’ beliefs) :

This one should really stand out:

Anti-Trump, Anti-gun organization

Alex is George Soros’s son. Open Society Foundations is George Soros’s organization.
So what did we learn? We see that the people directly involved in the tragedy are pro-Trump, pro-2A and conservative. There was a firearm on site at the synagogue in case of an emergency. An emergency happened and because of the quick actions of people and the presence of a firearm in a place of worship (something gun control advocates are strongly against), a mass shooting was prevented and lives were saved. Lori (and her husband for keeping a firearm on site), Oscar, the Border Patrol agent, and Rabbi Goldstein are heroes instead of victims, yet political hacks and activists are attempting to spin the events that happened to fit THEIR agenda. They will never admit the truth, and this is why this brief reticle is being written.
Hate comes in many forms, and the shooter who wanted to harm/kill as many people as possible will face justice, but he failed because of the heroes at Chabad and their choice to be armed.
UPDATE: Shannon Watts is trying to discredit what happened:
The gun in question (as a friend of the people involved described) was kept at the synagogue just in case of an emergency such as the event that occurred. It was retrieved in the midst of the shooting and used. The gun also belonged to the husband of the only person to be killed, Lori Gilbert Kaye. Rabbi Goldstein even confirms it in this video beginning at 2:26 into it (BP agent got access to the firearm and it helped end the tragedy).

And there you have it. The queen of anti-2nd amendment propaganda is using the victims, who do not agree with her, as a means to advance HER agenda of disarmament and political warfare.
A possible lead in the Jussie Smollett hoax case (updated 10:00am 4/24- Kim Foxx/Skolnik link)
Now, I’m not going to accuse anyone of anything, but this is something that should be looked at. Local and federal crimes were committed in that whole ordeal.
As we all know, the incident was setup to make Trump and his supporters look bad. Through some VERY brief research, an interesting connection to Smollett was made: Michael Skolnik. Let’s start with the event that gave the lead:

This event was on May 9th, 2018. Now, two names stick out: Senator Kamala Harris and also Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx. Skolnik’s agency, SOZE, even promoted it:

There’s Kamala speaking. So let’s move to Kim Foxx:

Ok, so Kamala is connected to Smollett:

Foxx is connected to Harris:

And Skolnik knows Jussie as well:

Matter of fact, that above picture (or one just like it), he sent it out and deleted it (link is dead, but still shows up on Google). He admits to taking the above photo:

This tweet was sent out (not sure of delete date) the same day as the attack allegedly took place:

https://abcnews.go.com/US/timeline-alleged-jussie-smollett-attack/story?id=61124090
The reply from Little Miss Flint is still up, however:
https://mobile.twitter.com/littlemissflint/status/1090418859612557312
Very interesting about the deleted tweet. Now, why does this all paint a picture? Skolnik is one of the main agitators in the Trump resistance movement (note, this was published on 1/10/17, before Trump even was sworn in):
http://anewdomain.net/the-movement-to-oppose-trump-12-things-to-do/

And…..
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwW7ydYoWeM&app=desktop
Not to mention that Skolnik was also the political director for Russell Simmons

If I were an investigator (I’m not professional), I’d be very curious to see how much more involved this individual and his agency are in all of this (in terms of knowing everyone involved in the case).
NOTE: I am not accusing any individual of anything. This is merely evidence of connections.
UPDATE: and the connections deepen

Skolnik and Soros connected

Soros and Foxx connected
Harris also has ties to billionaire Democratic Party donor George Soros, who was one of the two owners of OneWest Bank at the time. Coincidentally, before Harris passed on the opportunity to file action against OneWest Bank, Soros was pouring money into California criminal policy initiatives that Harris was pushing.
In 2011, Harris’ former aide Lenore Anderson was hired as campaign manager for Californians for Safety and Justice, which was financed by Soros’ Open Society Foundations. In 2014, The Los Angeles Times reported, “The organization operates under the umbrella of a San Francisco-based nonprofit clearinghouse, which effectively shields its donor list and financial operations from public view.” The report cited that since 2012 Soros had led a four-year, $16 million campaign to change California criminal policy, which Harris was deeply involved in as California attorney general. Lenore Anderson also led Vote Safe, another Soros’ funded organization.

Harris and Soros connected.
George Soros is connected to all 3 directly.
oh, and this

And lastly, we have a another direct to to Skolnik and Jussie Smollett:

UPDATE 4/24: We have now linked Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx to Michael Skolnik and his organizations (also the DNC):

https://www.wearesoze.com/#our-clients
https://garynycstudio.com/xii
Paging investigators!!!! This was an international story. It is clear that Kim Foxx recused herself due to a conflict of interest/ties/insider knowledge of something.
Yet another update:
Cook County judges are now lashing out at Kim Foxx:
ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. (FOX 32) — 21-year-old Candace Clark of Hoffman Estates says she’s the victim of a Kim Foxx double standard, and a Cook County Judge agrees.
On April 11, Clark appeared in the Rolling Meadows courtroom of Cook County Judge Marc Martin, facing a single felony count of making a false police report.
Clark is accused of giving an acquaintance access to her bank account and then telling police money had been stolen, something she denies.
According to a transcript obtained by FOX 32, Judge Martin hammered prosecutors, asking, “I’d like to know why Ms. Clark is being treated differently than Jussie Smollett. It’s a disorderly conduct case. A lot less egregious than Mr. Smollett’s case. I have a problem with it.”
Prosecutors were demanding that Clark make full restitution of $2,800 and serve deferred prosecution, something not required of Smollett.
“Ms. Clark is not a movie star, she doesn’t have a high-priced lawyer,” said Judge Martin. “And this smells big time. Your office created this mess. There’s no publicity on this case. Press gets ahold of this; it’ll be the newspaper.”
A spokesperson for Kim Foxx says because the case is ongoing, they have no comment.
“I’m not Jussie Smollett,” said Clark. “I wish I was, but it’s OK. I’ll get my justice.”
And Skolnik?

As you can see, the justice system in Cook County is unable to operate due to this entire mess. Well done…….
Working at Everytown For Gun Safety
Whenever an individual is looking for a new job, it’s always best to research your potential employer and previous employee feedback. Sure, there will be disgruntled former employees that leave negative reviews, but when enough negative reviews mirror one another, it starts to paint a larger picture of what happens behind the scenes. Just for fun, let’s look at Michael Bloomberg’s Everytown For Gun Safety.
On the surface, it pays extremely well! I want to know more, because if I believed in their cause, I would be extremely interested:

Not bad. Not bad at all. Seems to be enough to support living on for many of the positions (especially if a partner or spouse is also working). Ok. I’m interested! Let’s see what some current employees have to say about working for this organization:

“Racism and discrimination are things here. Pay inequality, promotions, and hiring people of color in real management positions, diversity and inclusion are only buzz words.”
From a current employee, that’s not a good comment to leave. I wonder if any other current people there have anything to say?
“Toxic people in management, difficulty with staff turnover, startup culture feel.”
Yeah. Toxic people make a place miserable to spend the workday. I wonder if anyone else there thinks it’s “toxic”?

“Hemorrhage employees. Internal politics turns even the smallest tasks into moving mountains. Too many consultants just here to get paid and move on to the next job”
We’ll, those are all red flags. Even as a registered Republican though, I still feel that I can contribute to this cause, as I don’t toe-the-line on party politics. I’m still MAYBE considering an interview:

“If you are a Republican, stay clear away from this organization.”
Hmm. They’re probably just mad they didn’t get hired, as Everytown claims to be “bi-partisan”. I’m now actually curious to see what former employees had to say about working at Michael Bloomberg’s, Shannon Watts’, and John Feinblatt’s Everytown For Gun Safety:

Ok, that’s a bunch of bold claims to make. I bet it’s someone who was fired that didn’t believe in the mission. Let’s view some more:

More on money and mention of infighting. Very bad sign. I really wish money wasn’t driving people here, as the mission is so important.

Well, delicious snacks are a definite plus, but working with people who have “crazy personalities with no accountability” is not fun, but most workplaces have a wacko or two.

“Dysfunctional environment”? Not where I want to be at all.

“Overall, an unhealthy work environment for many people, especially people of color”
Seems to be a pattern of this, even mentioned in the “current” employee review.

There’s that “toxic workplace” statement again, and also a mention of “racism”, and in this case, “rampant” (from 2 sources). Also concerning that one former employee mentions “no valid reporting mechanism for harassment”.

Ok, I’ve seen enough here. I’m going to check with a different source instead.

More issues with race.

Well, I’ve seen enough. This organization clearly has many issues regarding management, racism, and turnover. While there are some positive reviews, it’s a wash compared to the negative reviews

I guess my search for a non-racist, well run, low turnover “gun safety” organization continues, as Everytown appears to be not even close to what I’m looking for. It should also be noted that discrimination based on race (as implied) infringes on people’s constitutional rights as American citizens. Now, the irony off all of this? Everytown has their own campaign called “disarm hate”.
https://everytownresearch.org/disarm-hate/
The vast majority of hate crimes are directed against communities of color, religious minorities, and LGBTQ people.Hate crimes are driven by prejudice against race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, gender or gender identity, or other core parts of a person’s identity. In 2016, the most recent year for which data are available, over half of hate crimes reported to the FBI were motivated by racism, and approximately a quarter of all hate crimes were motivated by bias against black people.
Seems to me they should look inside at their own racism as well, as the big wig (Bloomberg) has a history of racist comments………

https://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/feb/8/sughed-michael-bloomberg-suggests-disarming-minori/
Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg reportedly argued Friday that guns need to be kept out of the hands of minorities in order to keep them alive.
While speaking at the Aspen Institute, Mr. Bloomberg, 72, said 95 percent of murders fall into a specific category: a male minority between the ages of 15 and 25, The Aspen Times reported.
Cities need to get guns out of this group’s hands and keep them alive, the former three-term mayor said, according to The Times.
“These kids think they’re going to get killed anyway because all their friends are getting killed,” said Mr. Bloomberg, who funds the gun-control advocacy group Everytown for Gun Safety. “They just don’t have any long-term focus or anything. It’s a joke to have a gun. It’s a joke to pull a trigger.”

The New Yorker published a hit piece on the NRA. Let’s break it down (who’s behind it), shall we?
This article was published last week (4/17/19) and has been making the rounds with anti-NRA (and also anti-2nd amendment) groups and organizations:

https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/secrecy-self-dealing-and-greed-at-the-nra
Without even looking at the article, it can be broken down to what it is and where it’s from. Reading it, you’ll notice this piece in it:

“In partnership with The Trace“. Great, let’s look at who they are:

https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_7581446
Wait…..WHAT?!?!?!?!? Bloomberg funding yet another anti-gun outlet? No, it can’t be!!!! Let’s look at their funding/tax documents. This can’t be right:

https://www.thetrace.org/donor-financial-transparency/
Nope. Still not buying it. We need more evidence. This can all be explained by……oh……

Well shoot. Looks like John Feinblatt is President of Everytown AND Trace Media. That’s interesting. But what about the author of the article? Surely he……DAMNIT!!!!

Ok ok ok. It’s just this one guy who worked his way into the New Yorker and got his article published by them. It’s not happening anywhere else, there’s no……..AHHHHHHHH!!!!

And of course the Bloomberg funded/founded groups run with it:

In conclusion, a Bloomberg funded media outlet (who’s president is also the president of Everytown For Gun Safety, Bloomberg’s gun control organization) publishes a hit piece on their enemy (the NRA) and people eat it all up without looking at the money/groups/people behind it. So why write this article? See below:

Everytown used the New Yorker article as a source to file a complaint against the NRA to the IRS ONE DAY after its publication. Coordinate media/big money (Everytown) attack.
NEW YORK – Today, in response to an article published by The New Yorker, in conjunction with The Trace, detailing how “a small group of N.R.A. executives, contractors, and vendors has extracted hundreds of millions of dollars from the nonprofit’s budget,” Everytown for Gun Safety has filed a complaint about the NRA’s tax-exempt status with the IRS, and is calling for federal and state investigations into the NRA’s operation as a charity.
“We’ve seen a lot of smoke — now there is fire,” said Nick Suplina, managing director for law and policy for Everytown. “It’s time for regulators to investigate the NRA and whether it has violated its tax-exempt charity status.”
Recent reporting by the New Yorker (hereinafter “NRA Expose”) and other news organizations indicates the leadership of the National Rifle Association (“NRA”) has engaged in a pattern of related party transactions, financial mismanagement, and an utter lack of transparency. See Mike Spies, “Secrecy, Self-Dealing, and Greed at the NRA, The New Yorker, Apr. 17, 2019, available at https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/secrecy-self-dealing-and-greed-at-the-nra.
Draw your own conclusions on this one......
UPDATE 4/22/19 6:13PM!!!!!
I just received this E-mail from Everytown. Can anyone say this whole stunt was a FUNDRAISING SCAM?!??!?!?!?!?

March For Our Lives 2020 (quick article based on a publication released yesterday)
The MFOL activists (with the help of all the professional AstroTurf organizers mentioned in parts 1/2/3 of this series) have hit the ground running for the 2020 elections already:
https://cheddar.com/media/march-for-our-lives-makes-gun-violence-a-top-issue-for-2020-hopefuls

Over a year since its founding, the student-led advocacy group March For Our Lives is now working to make gun violence a top issue for 2020 presidential candidates.
We are “working in a myriad of ways to make sure that these people, these politicians that are running for president don’t forget about the people that are dying from gun violence,” Lauren Hogg, the youngest founding member of the group, told Cheddar in an interview Friday.
Translation: we are going to do the same thing with did in 2018 with 2020. That also means we may see more publications from the “celebrities” of the movement, as they always want to be center of attention:
Hogg, who was a freshman at the time, survived the shooting along with her older brother David. The siblings quickly become prominent faces of March For Our Lives and have since published a book, “#NeverAgain: A New Generation Draws the Line,” which details the students’ activism.
There was even book tour (complete with bodyguards) for that:

The student activists of this movement (under the direction of adult political operatives) are enjoying the camera time/publicity way too much, which is not something people that have true selfless intentions crave.
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) and Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) were the two candidates that mentioned gun control policy the most on social media, according to an analysis by The Washington Post.
“They want to hear what we have to say because it is time for them to listen to us,” Hogg said, adding that March For Our Lives has been in contact with several of the candidates.
“As these candidates are coming up, a lot of them are having one of their main issues be to end gun violence,” Hogg added. “That is one of the main changes that we have seen because of our movement and because thousands of other people that care about this issue, it has become one of the top voting issues.”
‘It continues every single day’
‘It continues every single day’
March For Our Lives is also pushing politicians not just to focus on the issue after a mass shootings, but to realize that gun violence is an epidemic in the U.S. — especially in low income areas and communities of color.
https://www.sun-sentinel.com/local/broward/parkland/florida-school-shooting/fl-ne-march-for-our-lives-digital-billboards-times-square-20190417-story,amp.html
“The Times Square billboards are meant to reach people from around the world in an impactful way, and like all of our messages, they are meant to be accessible to those willing to fight for safer communities, schools, concert venues, places of worship, and everywhere the threat of gun violence exists,’’ added Duff, a student at Elon University in North Carolina.
Previous ads by the group, including one meant to get people to the polls in November, included a video that depicted a gun firing bullets through a school hallway.
Ok, so here’s the propaganda video mentioned there to, you guessed it, target voters in November of last year:
*Objectives of ad MFOL put out: Fear, anger, response (“I’m afraid of this happening, I’m angry that it can happen, I’m going to vote for/donate to people who support this (false) agenda”). Advertising a “product” (their movement) in order to get more “customers”.
Plain and simple: Do not underestimate this organization. The mouth pieces are the students, but the “wizards” behind the curtain are big money and seasoned professionals. How else what they get the advertising spotlight in one of the most recognized places on the planet (Times Square, NY)?
Money money money…….
“The main goal of this billboard campaign was to show people that we still are here — months, a year after the shooting that happened at our school,” Hogg said. “People from all across the world will see the reality of what gun violence is in this country.”
https://www.businessinsider.com/what-it-costs-to-advertise-in-times-square-2012-12
It costs between $1.1 million and $4 million a year if you want to buy one of those flashy, digital or neon billboards that light up New York’s Times Square, according to the Wall Street Journal. The owners of 1 Times Square— the tall tower in the middle of the intersection of Broadway and Seventh Avenue (it’s not actually a “square”) — make $23 million a year from the billboards that cover it.
That makes it the most expensive set of billboards in the entire world.
It’s relatively cheap, too. A spot in the Super Bowl costs up to $3.8 million, and that only lasts 30 seconds.
Times Square signs don’t just get eyeballs from tourist traffic in the square itself. They also make tons of incidental appearances on TV shows.
And the point of advertising? Companies dump millions on ads to increase profits (offsetting advertising costs).

Remember?

And to top it all off, the MFOL student activists have financially benefited directly from this Action Fund in the past:
http://nymag.com/intelligencer/2018/08/david-hogg-is-taking-his-gap-year-at-the-barricades.html
The students on the tour had received a stipend from the action fund — Hogg earned about $6,000 — though they received it with ambivalence, some referring to the payments as “blood money.”
Approximate cost for this campaign in $750k (1000 15 seconds over a two week non-stop showing = roughly 15000)

We (no matter what side of the issue) all want mass shootings to stop, but in order to do so the root causes (not symptoms) need to be addressed without partisan attacks and realistic safety measures need to be put in place for stopping an attack while it’s happening, which is something one side is unwilling to do UNLESS it involves gun control:

Looks like the Senator has a bit of “common sense” after all and is now under fire for it.
Governor JB Pritzker FOIA on the 2/15/19 Aurora IL Shooting
On 3/22/19, one of our members submitted a Freedom Of Information Act for the following:

Well, as you can see, they granted the request (sort of).

Takeaways:
-Two days after the shooting, gun laws were already on the table (keep in mind this man was a convicted felon who was denied a Concealed & Carry license, but the process wasn’t followed in order to revoke his FOID card. He was also carrying a gun illegally in a gun free zone)

-The Governor’s office doesn’t know that an order of protection automatically means a revocation of FOID card (I’ll even use Gifford’s as a source)
https://lawcenter.giffords.org/domestic-violence-and-firearms-in-illinois/
Illinois law provides that a person who is subject to an existing order of protection, interim order of protection, emergency order of protection, or plenary order of protection issued under the Code of Criminal Procedure may not lawfully possess weapons under the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act.14
In addition, a court may issue a civil order under the Illinois Domestic Violence Act prohibiting a person from possessing firearms if that person is subject to a protection order meeting the following criteria:
-
the order was issued after a hearing of which such person received actual notice, and at which such person had an opportunity to participate;
-
the order restrains such person from harassing, stalking, or threatening an intimate partner of such person or child of such intimate partner or person, or engaging in other conduct that would place an intimate partner in reasonable fear of bodily injury to the partner or child; and
-
the order (i) includes a finding that such person represents a credible threat to the physical safety of such intimate partner or child; or (ii) by its terms explicitly prohibits the use, attempted use, or threatened use of physical force against such intimate partner or child that would reasonably be expected to cause bodily injury.
-Rep. Kathleen Willis was discussed, which in the aftermath she was behind (and supportive of) many of the gun control laws in the current session of the Illinois General Assembly
Three bills filed in the Illinois General Assembly would require authorities to collect fingerprints from people applying for state gun licenses or, alternatively, allow people seeking a state Firearms Owner’s Identification card to provide their fingerprints to the Illinois State Police as part of their background checks.
The latest was introduced this week by state Rep. Kathleen Willis, D-Northlake. It’s part of a package that would go beyond fingerprinting to also require background checks for private sales between individuals, reduce the time a FOID card is valid from the current 10 years to five before requiring a new application and require the state police to take steps to seize weapons from people whose gun licenses have been revoked. The bill also would give the state police greater discretion to deny permits to carry concealed firearms.
The state police acknowledged their error:
The state police later acknowledged it had erroneously given Martin a FOID card in 2014 after a background check based on his name and birthdate didn’t turn up anything that would disqualify him from owning a gun.
And because of The ISP’s failure, the law abiding residents of IL have to “pay” the price (make sure you you read this article VERY carefully:

It’s just a fact of life that handguns are now permanent legal fixtures in the American landscape. We have to live with that.
But the freedom to own a firearm doesn’t mean it has to be free of charge. It doesn’t mean that owners can’t be a tiny bit inconvenienced. And someone’s right to own a gun certainly does not trump the safety rights of the rest of us.
This is what the pro-gun people don’t seem to understand.
Gun rights advocates in Illinois are in an uproar over legislation that is being debated in the General Assembly. The bill simply would make it harder for people who aren’t supposed to have guns to legally obtain them.
The amendment to House Bill 96, sponsored by Rep. Kathleen Willis, is one of several bills introduced in the aftermath of a multiple shooting at a manufacturing warehouse in Aurora in February.
The ISRA is livid that everyone who applies for a new FOID card or renews one would have to be fingerprinted. The cost of this would be “astronomical, up to $250.” In addition, the ISRA says, applicants would have to pay for their own background check, costing another $100 or more.
But who says that the people who choose to own firearms shouldn’t have to go into their pocketbooks every now and then? Gun owners have no problem shelling out $600 for the latest Smith & Wesson. But if you ask them to pay $10 — the current cost of a FOID card — they go ballistic. They are perfectly satisfied allowing taxpayers who would never own a gun to supplement the administrative costs for their freedom.
There’s nothing wrong with forcing the people who like guns to kick in the extra costs for law enforcement officials to run the program properly, including following up on people like Martin who have had their FOID cards revoked.
You all read that correctly. Because of the ISP’s failure, the cost of Rep. Willis’s proposed bill will be put on law abiding IL gun owners. It would no longer be a “right”, it would be a financial privilege for those that can afford it at the time of renewal/application.
Lots of redactions as you can see, I wonder if some of this was discussed, as we all know the state loves to tax everyone until they leave the state………
The Truth About March For Our Lives Part 3: Big Money, Corporations, Elections
Big money rules the world (unfortunately), and it also corrupts people, many who wish to do good. March For Our Lives (what it became) is a prime example of that.
To get started, big donors immediately poured money into the group (this article is not about the money in the very beginning of the movement collected by the GoFundMe started by Cameron Kasky, but it’s where the money starts).
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/march-for-our-lives-who-donated/
Taylor Swift, Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney (and wife, Amal), Steven Spielberg (and wife Kate Capshaw) etc etc. The list goes on. It was a groundbreaking event:
Organizers hoped Saturday’s rally in Washington would attract 500,000 people. Additional rallies were planned in more than 800 cities across the country and around the world.
With this covered (and how it was planned) in part one, we will not revisit it. We will instead begin talking about Everytown For Gun Safety to start.
Everytown For Gun Safety was formed at the end of 2013. Before that (from 2006-2012), it was known solely as Mayors Against Illegal Guns, Which was started by former New York mayor, Michael Bloomberg.
https://www.nytimes.com/2007/01/24/nyregion/24bloomberg.html
WASHINGTON, Jan. 23 — Mayors from some of the nation’s largest cities gathered on Tuesday to urge Congress to crack down on the trade of illegal firearms. But the mayors’ efforts, led by Michael R. Bloomberg of New York and Thomas M. Menino of Boston, generated a small protest by advocates for gun owners and dealers.
At a daylong conference here, the coalition, known as Mayors Against Illegal Guns, vowed to press for federal legislation to give cities greater access to trace data, which law enforcement authorities can use to determine the origin of guns involved in crimes. A trace tracks the weapon’s sales history, from manufacturer to distributor to retailer to buyer.
I can’t think of anyone who would be against illegal guns, but the name itself was deceiving (as members soon found out):
THE MAYORS OF ROCKFORD, Ill., and Nashua, N.H., have decided to leave Mayors Against Illegal Guns, an advocacy group spearheaded by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg that pushes for new gun control laws.
Independent Mayor Lawrence Morrissey of Rockford and Republican Mayor Donnalee Lozeau of Nashua both said the group’s name is misleading.
“I’ve dropped out of a group called Mayors Against Illegal Guns,” Morrissey said at a June 22 town hall meeting, to loud applause. “The reason why I joined the group in the first place is because I took the name for what it said – against ‘illegal’ guns.”
Because of the false advertising by MAIG:
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/15-of-michael-bloombergs-anti-gun-mayors-leave
As it has broadened its attacks on lawmakers and Second Amendment groups like the National Rifle Association, former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s aggressive “ Mayors Against Illegal Guns” group has experienced a sharp 15-percent drop in mayor-members.
According to a new count, the group’s membership has gone from a high of 1,046 following the shootings at Newtown, Conn.’s Sandy Hook Elementary School in December 2012 to a low today of 885.
That’s a fast drop of 161 members.
Declining membership and tarnished brand name due to controversy, which leads us to Shannon Watts and Moms Demand Action (which was formed by Watts after the Sandy Hook Shooting). Prior to Sandy Hook, MAIG wasn’t very “profitable”:

Shannon Watts’s movement took off almost immediately after the Sandy Hook shooting
https://momsdemandaction.org/one-million-moms-for-gun-control-origins-of-a-movement/
The morning after Newtown, Watts woke up angry. “If I don’t do something, I am culpable,” she remembers thinking. She’d worked in corporate communications for 15 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom, and while not a pro with computers, she knew enough to create a Facebook page. She called it “One Million Moms For Gun Control,” and shared the link with her 175 Facebook friends.
Sensing an opportunity to rebrand (and more than likely a generous offer given to Shannon Watts), I’ll let these documents do the talking:

Yes. Both groups merged to form one group: Everytown For Gun Safety. Going back to pre-merger/pre-Sandy Hook, see revenue:

Now, see with merger included/post Sandy Hook

Roughly a 700% increase in revenue. Now, let’s get back to March For Our Lives (and why the above is important):

“Wake of the deadliest school shooting since Sandy Hook”. Everytown had another opportunity to get more people to join their cause (and more importantly, there will be money involved). Mayors, moms, and now students (youth). As posted at the very end of part 1 of this series, Everytown is who sponsored the marches worldwide.
https://act.everytown.org/event/march-our-lives-events/

If you attended one of the marches, there were signs handed out to those that attended (ask how I know, but don’t take my word for it, see for yourself):

(Quick fact: Giffords Courage (formally known as Americans For Responsible Soultions) was given a grant by Everytown in 2013 (as was Moms Demand Action before the merger)

Everytown knew this movement was here to stay, just like Moms Demand Action was. They backed them with supplies, press, etc. They are a brand and needed more “customers” to join. Once again, the adults/pros running the show. And take a guess who’s involved in the MFOL Action Fund?

And (further) concrete proof between Bloomberg, Everytown, and March For Our Lives:

And let’s not forget that the “Moms” protect their “cubs” (even when it involves victims of the tragedy and throwing bogus claims at them)

Is that any way to act for a “poster woman” of an organization????
Moving on….
People are not going to flock to an ideology just based on political stances, which is why marketing is so vital. You want people to “buy into” your product and what you are offering. Many companies started to jump on board the bandwagon with March For Our Lives, as it was popular (and the companies wanted to be as well):
Levi’s
https://www.levistrauss.com/2018/09/04/ending-gun-violence/
We are inspired by the young people who are speaking up on America’s gun violence epidemic. It’s an issue that affects all of us in this country and is all too prevalent in daily life – whether it be our children participating in active shooter drills at school, worries about our own safety at work or in our community or, most tragic of all, someone we know being hurt by the daily gun violence in this country (one quarter of Americans say they have been directly affected by gun violence).
No single activist, organization or lawmaker is going to reverse this trajectory. It’s going to take an entire nation standing up and demanding change. And the business community plays an important role.
That’s why today, on top of our previous actions, Levi Strauss & Co. has pledged its support for gun violence prevention in the following three ways:
Now here is where it gets interesting
1. The Safer Tomorrow Fund: We’ve established this fund to direct more than $1 million in philanthropic grants from LS&Co. over the next four years to fuel the work of nonprofits and youth activists who are working to end gun violence in America.
2. Everytown Business Leaders for Gun Safety: We are partnering with Everytown for Gun Safety and executives from the business community, including Michael Bloomberg, to form a coalition of business leaders who believe that business has a critical role to play and a moral obligation to do something about the gun violence epidemic in this country.
3. Employee Support: We are doubling our usual employee donation match to organizations aligned with our Safer Tomorrow Fund. Additionally, we’re encouraging employees to utilize their five hours a month in paid volunteer time to get more politically active.
(Note: To be fair on #3, it doesn’t say how, but with everything else considered, it’s not hard to imply what they mean).
Dick’s Sporting Goods
Dick’s Sporting Goods is ramping up its efforts to promote gun control in the United States following the February shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
The sporting goods retailer — which is also one of the top firearms sellers in the US — has hired lobbyists to push for gun control in Washington
In fact, Stack is doing even more to get behind his company’s efforts last year. He, along with a handful of other CEOs, on Monday signed onto a letter sent to Congress in support of the HR8 background check bill. Background checks are something “both sides of the aisle can get behind it,” Stack said.
He’s also recently joined Everytown Business Leaders for Gun Safety,
And even recently (April 2019), American Eagle Outfitters has signed on MFOL activist Delaney Tarr to help promote their brand.

So many more, so let’s end that section here with a link from Everytown Business Leaders For Gun Safety so you can see for yourself at your leisure:

So what about other businesses? As touched in part 2, we saw what happens to companies that did not fall in line with the activists’ views at the time :
https://www.businessinsider.com/nra-boycott-amazon-apple-and-fedex-2018-2
Several activists and celebrities are calling for a 24-hour boycott of Amazon, Apple, and FedEx, on March 1. This week, Amazon and Apple have come under fire from gun control activists because the two companies offer the NRA’s TV channel as part of their streaming services. FedEx, meanwhile, has a discount program for NRA members.
Among those promoting the boycott are actors Alyssa Milano and Debra Messing; actor and producer Justine Bateman; and Shannon Coulter (the woman behind the “Grab Your Wallet” boycott of retailers that carry Trump products). They are asking participants to refrain from buying products from Amazon and Apple, and to avoid shipping items via FedEx.
In a sense, it was “fall in line or we will use our status in the limelight to bring you down”, which is what? ⬇️

Not a very honorable action to take, and certainly not done by “good/well intentioned” people (the adults/professionals, not referring to the students, as they were guided by adults).
So, professional planners/activists planned the 3/24 national march, seasoned activists and left-leaning voter organizations did the tour, and Everytown was the main driving force to help turn it into a brand, but what all for (besides to attack the NRA)? The 2018 midterm elections.

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/06/20/us/politics/mike-bloomberg-democrats-election.html
Michael R. Bloomberg, the billionaire former mayor of New York City, has decided to throw his political clout and personal fortune behind the Democratic campaign to take control of the House of Representatives this year, directing aides to spend tens of millions of dollars in an effort to expel Republicans from power.
Mr. Bloomberg — a political independent who has championed left-of-center policies on gun control, immigration and the environment — has approved a plan to pour at least $80 million into the 2018 election, with the bulk of that money going to support Democratic congressional candidates, advisers to Mr. Bloomberg said.
By siding so emphatically with one party, Mr. Bloomberg has the potential to upend the financial dynamics of the midterm campaign, which have appeared to favor Republicans up to this point. Facing intense opposition to President Trump and conservative policies, Republicans have been counting on a strong economy and heavily funded outside groups to give them a political advantage in key races, especially in affluent suburbs where it is expensive to run television ads.
How about in his own words as to why:

I’ve never much liked political parties. I’ve always believed that we should put country before party. Too many politicians practice the reverse, with terrible consequences for the American people.
But although I don’t believe in partisanship, I very much believe in the importance of politics and elections. That’s how we make change and progress in a democracy.
Over the years, I have supported candidates in both parties who were willing to break with partisanship and the special interests and seek common ground around solutions to make America better. I’ve focused my philanthropy partly around bipartisan gun safety, environmental and immigration reform measures, and my political giving has been focused around those priorities as well.
In the last election, for example, I spent nearly ten million dollars to help a Republican, Pat Toomey, get re-elected in Pennsylvania. I disagree with him on many issues. But after the Newtown, Connecticut, shooting, he broke with the NRA and co-wrote a bipartisan bill to close the background check loophole.
At the same time, I spent roughly the same amount to help successfully elect a Democrat in New Hampshire — Maggie Hassan — who was running to defeat a Republican incumbent who had voted against Toomey’s bill.
This year, I’m supporting both Republican and Democratic gubernatorial candidates who have shown strong leadership on gun safety, the environment, education and other critical issues facing the country.
Lots of neck-in-neck races, especially towards the end. So why not dump ANOTHER $5 million into them?
Michael R. Bloomberg, the billionaire former mayor of New York City who is considering a 2020 presidential campaign, took another step closer to that possibility Sunday with a $5 million national advertising effort that encourages voters to support Democrats in Tuesday’s midterm elections — and offers Bloomberg’s centrist politics as a counter to President Trump.
So what’s the total amount this one man spent on the election?
In a statement to The Washington Post on Sunday, Bloomberg said, “The country is deeply divided. The president and Republicans are fueling that division, and that holds us back as a nation. I’m unwilling to sit by and accept it.”
While formally a pitch for Democrats — to whom Bloomberg has given more than $110 million this election cycle — the ad is also revealing of the kind of presentation he could bring to the 2020 campaign trail. He speaks flatly with the faded Boston accent from his youth, devoid of partisan passion and with a technocratic emphasis on competence.
And yes, this individual made sure to stop at ground zero of the tragedy (and March For Our Lives movement that they helped hi-jack) during the midterms:

https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/broward/article219422605.html
Despite his keynote slot at a gun safety rally near Parkland, former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg took a back seat on Friday night as three student leaders and the grieving parents of two teenagers killed during the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting delivered emotional speeches encouraging the voting public to cast their ballots for “gun sense” candidates willing to enact stronger gun control laws
Also during this event/trip:
Bloomberg, who is rumored to be considering a 2020 presidential run, was in South Florida for Friday’s event and to campaign with Florida’s Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum. Bloomberg and Everytown have pledged $500,000 to Gillum’s campaign in the past week.
He and Gillum will appear together Saturday night at a Democratic party fundraiser in West Palm Beach before visiting a Jewish center in Pembroke Pines on Sunday.
Remember Andrew Gillum from part 2 of this series (Road To Change)?

While this isn’t all of the examples to do with the subject of this part (way more), I think it paints a picture to how the COMMUNITY in Parkland and the students were used by a billionaire and his organization (Everytown) in order to contribute to the ultimate goal of the movement after it was hi-jacked early on: Elect Democrats who fall in-line with “the plan”, which involves stripping the country of the right to bear arms under the term “gun safety”. For more on that term (and many of the talking points used during the movement as well as gun control activists everywhere), please see this manual, which is a how-to propaganda guide:

To close this article out, let’s circle back to an individual mentioned in both part 1 and part 2: Nina Vinik of the Joyce Foundation. Guess who’s behind MFOL Lobbying?
And the same law firm that handles MFOL Lobbying handles stuff for the Joyce Foundation as well:
