Now, I’m not going to accuse anyone of anything, but this is something that should be looked at. Local and federal crimes were committed in that whole ordeal.
As we all know, the incident was setup to make Trump and his supporters look bad. Through some VERY brief research, an interesting connection to Smollett was made: Michael Skolnik. Let’s start with the event that gave the lead:
This event was on May 9th, 2018. Now, two names stick out: Senator Kamala Harris and also Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx. Skolnik’s agency, SOZE, even promoted it:

If I were an investigator (I’m not professional), I’d be very curious to see how much more involved this individual and his agency are in all of this (in terms of knowing everyone involved in the case).

Harris also has ties to billionaire Democratic Party donor George Soros, who was one of the two owners of OneWest Bank at the time. Coincidentally, before Harris passed on the opportunity to file action against OneWest Bank, Soros was pouring money into California criminal policy initiatives that Harris was pushing.
In 2011, Harris’ former aide Lenore Anderson was hired as campaign manager for Californians for Safety and Justice, which was financed by Soros’ Open Society Foundations. In 2014, The Los Angeles Times reported, “The organization operates under the umbrella of a San Francisco-based nonprofit clearinghouse, which effectively shields its donor list and financial operations from public view.” The report cited that since 2012 Soros had led a four-year, $16 million campaign to change California criminal policy, which Harris was deeply involved in as California attorney general. Lenore Anderson also led Vote Safe, another Soros’ funded organization.

Paging investigators!!!! This was an international story. It is clear that Kim Foxx recused herself due to a conflict of interest/ties/insider knowledge of something.

Cook County judges are now lashing out at Kim Foxx:
ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. (FOX 32) — 21-year-old Candace Clark of Hoffman Estates says she’s the victim of a Kim Foxx double standard, and a Cook County Judge agrees.
On April 11, Clark appeared in the Rolling Meadows courtroom of Cook County Judge Marc Martin, facing a single felony count of making a false police report.
Clark is accused of giving an acquaintance access to her bank account and then telling police money had been stolen, something she denies.
According to a transcript obtained by FOX 32, Judge Martin hammered prosecutors, asking, “I’d like to know why Ms. Clark is being treated differently than Jussie Smollett. It’s a disorderly conduct case. A lot less egregious than Mr. Smollett’s case. I have a problem with it.”
Prosecutors were demanding that Clark make full restitution of $2,800 and serve deferred prosecution, something not required of Smollett.
“Ms. Clark is not a movie star, she doesn’t have a high-priced lawyer,” said Judge Martin. “And this smells big time. Your office created this mess. There’s no publicity on this case. Press gets ahold of this; it’ll be the newspaper.”
A spokesperson for Kim Foxx says because the case is ongoing, they have no comment.
“I’m not Jussie Smollett,” said Clark. “I wish I was, but it’s OK. I’ll get my justice.”
