“Be SMART”, the gateway drug to Everytown and Moms Demand Action. Don’t be fooled

Came across this event in Marion, Illinois the other day:

A community safety fair in which Moms Demand Action is a heavily involved participant. Oddly, that area of Illinois until recently was been pretty free of Bloomberg’s “grassroots” army. Looks like they’re starting to recruit in places they know will be a hard sell, so let’s dive into what “Be SMART” is.

Seems pretty noble, and for the most part, it’s pretty “common sense” (a favorite phrase of theirs). However, this program is specifically designed to lure individuals into the web of Everytown/Moms Demand Action under a false pretense that they are “pro 2nd Amendment and just work to educate on gun safety”. Nothing could be farther from the truth, so let’s begin.

First, due to uncertainty from people in the middle of the gun debate, Moms Demand Action rebranded only two months after the formed. What was their original name? 1 Million Moms For Gun Control:

https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/one-million-moms-for-gun-control-becomes-moms-demand-action-for-gun-sense-in-america-191995811.html

INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — One Million Moms for Gun Control announced today that it will now be known as Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America.

The fast-growing grassroots movement is changing its name two months after it was formed in order to better define its mission: to urge legislators to take action now on new and stronger common-sense gun laws. In addition, the new name will help reduce the likelihood of any confusion with similarly named organizations.

“Getting weapons of war off our streets is an uphill battle, but the only way we’re going to get this done is if members of Congress hear directly from parents, teachers, law enforcement and doctors – the citizens who understand all too well what gun violence is doing to our country,” said California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, author of the Assault Weapons Ban of 2013. “I applaud the leadership of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, and I am grateful for the grassroots commitment of moms all across this country to saving lives and helping to pass common-sense gun laws. Now is the time for action.”

Moms Demand Action’s middle-ground solutions to the escalating problem of gun violence in the United States are straightforward:

1) Ban assault weapons and ammunition magazines that hold more than 10 rounds.

2) Require background checks for all gun and ammunition purchases.

3) Report the sale of large quantities of ammunition to the ATF, and ban online sales of ammunition.
4) Counter gun industry lobbyists’ efforts to weaken gun laws at the state level.

See why they changed the name so quickly? Gotta use deceit to seem like you’re a “pro-2A” organization, yet you’re out to ban semi-automatic firearms, magazines that hold more than 10 rounds, kill off online ammo sales, etc.

Moms Demand Action also received grants shortly after they started from Bloomberg’s Mayor’s Against Illegal Guns (another organization that had its issues because they were going after LEGALLY owned firearms).

The same year as the above form 990 tax document (2013) Bloomberg’s group (MAIG) was coming under fire for their false name title (“Illegal Guns”). One was even the mayor of Rockford, IL:

https://www.usnews.com/news/blogs/washington-whispers/2013/06/25/two-mayors-ditch-bloombergs-anti-gun-group

THE MAYORS OF ROCKFORD, Ill., and Nashua, N.H., have decided to leave Mayors Against Illegal Guns, an advocacy group spearheaded by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg that pushes for new gun control laws.

Independent Mayor Lawrence Morrissey of Rockford and Republican Mayor Donnalee Lozeau of Nashua both said the group’s name is misleading.

“I’ve dropped out of a group called Mayors Against Illegal Guns,” Morrissey said at a June 22 town hall meeting, to loud applause. “The reason why I joined the group in the first place is because I took the name for what it said – against ‘illegal’ guns.”

In Rockford – Illinois’ third-largest city, with more than 150,000 residents – gun crime infrequently involves assault weapons, Morrissey said, but often involves handguns that are “usually in the hands of people who are prohibited from having them,” particularly convicted felons.

Morrissey joined MAIG because “I thought it was about enforcement of [the] existing gun laws” against illegal weapons, the three-term mayor said. “As the original mission swayed, that’s when I decided that it was no longer in line with my beliefs”

The mission swayed because MAIG was now expanding to their current mission, which is advocate and lobby for gun control. Because of this bad press, Bloomberg needed a rebrand, and in late December of 2013, Moms Demand Action merged with Mayors Against Illegal Guns to form Everytown For Gun Safety:

So there’s a brief history on Moms Demand Action and Everytown, but let’s see what this “pro 2nd Amendment gun safety group” has been up to recently in Illinois and nationwide:

Supporting the draconian Fix the FOID (SB1966):

https://momsdemandaction.org/illinois-moms-demand-action-everytown-applaud-introduction-of-legislation-to-close-deadly-gaps-in-state-gun-laws/

Supporting Don Harmon’s Gun Dealer Licensing bill (SB337):

https://momsdemandaction.org/illinois-moms-demand-action-everytown-for-gun-safety-applaud-senate-for-passing-bill-to-prevent-gun-trafficking/

Supporting Senator Feinstein’s bill to ban semi-automatic rifles, as well as magazines that hold more than 10 rounds:

https://momsdemandaction.org/voice-your-support-for-dianne-feinsteins-assault-weapons-ban/

And many, many more.

Be SMART is a gateway drug in order to lure individuals that don’t know about them into joining their cause. Don’t be fooled, as they are a well funded army of anti-2nd amendment activists that will use any means to deceive (as shown) in order to recruit for their cause (the erosion of the 2nd amendment under the lie of “common sense gun safety”). You’ve been warned.

Be SMART and hold a firearm by the muzzle 😂😂😂

Update: I’ll let the event organizer’s own words prove I’m right:

So, she’s the area “Be SMART” contact. Now, does this sound like the words of someone who is pro-2A and wants to only talk about firearm safety??

She heavily exaggerated (to the point of lying) on why the ISRA and “gun rights extremists” opposed the bills. So, with her own words, you all know she is against firearms (calling us extremists for supporting the 2nd amendment) and wants us to not “maintain our grip on guns at all cost”. Real pro-2A, lady…….

She even put out a press release (or provided the info on it):

http://www.dailyrepublicannews.com/news/20190626/community-safety-fair-set-for-saturday-at-marion-civic-center

MARION — The Marion Cultural and Civic Center will be home to the inaugural Community Safety Fair on Saturday.

The Community Safety Fair is the first of its kind of its kind of what organizers hope will be an annual event in Marion. It is free and to the public.

The purpose of the fair is to bring together a variety of service providers so that Marion and the surrounding communities will become aware of and participate in all aspects of community safety.

The Marion Police Department, Marion Fire Department, Animal Control, U.S. Army, Southern Illinois Healthcare, Heartland Regional Medical Center, Abbott EMS, “Stop the Bleed” and Franklin Williamson Bi-County Health Department will have interactive displays.

Tombstone Gun Range and Training Center will do two presentations in the morning along with the BeSMART gun-safety-in-the-home program by Moms Demand Action.

The BeSMART program will also be offered twice in the afternoon. Face painting, bouncy house and photo opportunities for the children are included. Every hour there will be valuable giveaway items for those who are present.

This event is sponsored by Southern Illinois Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, a grass-roots movement of Americans working for public safety measures that can protect people from gun violence.

Moms Demand Action is the largest gun violence prevention organization in the country with over 5 million supporters and more than 350,000 donors.

Luckily, Tombstone Gun Range and Training center caught wind of the real agenda after being informed about them and how they were being used:

There you have it.

Shannon Watts is now doxing people and putting them in danger

It seems that Shannon Watts is a little irritated over this article that was published yesterday in regards to her comments on the Holocaust:

https://ilwd4cr.home.blog/2019/06/19/shannon-watts-armed-jews-would-not-have-affected-the-holocaust/

This is what she did today:

Colion Noir’s birth name redacted

So, after pointing out that there were many armed Jews who took on the Nazis and SURVIVED because of armed resistance, she gets angry and doxed an African American activist who is at odds with her. Is that not possibly putting him in danger and allowing racists to pursue him more? I know he can take care of himself, but for someone who’s supposedly so concerned for people’s safety, that’s an awfully reckless move. Matter of fact, wouldn’t that open up the door for “white supremacists” to find him?

Shannon may have put Colion Noir in danger from her little stunt, but we all know that Everytown/Moms Demand Action (same organization) has an issue with racism anyways (an early published article):

https://ilwd4cr.home.blog/2019/04/23/working-at-everytown-for-gun-safety/amp/?__twitter_impression=true

Thank you, Shannon, for once again proving that you are a vile hag and don’t care about “safety” or discussion at all.

Shannon Watts: “Armed Jews Would Not Have Affected The Holocaust”

*WARNING: GRAPHIC IMAGES*

Shannon Watts of Moms Demand Action had this to say today:

So, according to her, armed Jews would not have made a difference in their fate under Nazi rule. It is “inaccurate, offensive and stupid” to think that armed people can stop a dangerous government. Why even bother? Why don’t we all just let this happen to us without even a fight? It’s gonna happen anyways, right?

Yeah, they (Jews, gays, gypsies and all the other “undesirables” according to the government of the Third Reich) couldn’t do anything. They did the right thing accepting what was their fate:

If people would have resisted in any way with firearms, then they themselves would be guilty of “gun violence”, right Shannon? After all, according to your platform, isn’t anyone that is shot (regardless of circumstance) a victim of “gun violence”? Is it “gun violence” when people are attempting to defend themselves from a murderous regime? Are these WW2 Jewish resistance figures part of the “gun violence” problem? They have guns. They shot and killed those that were trying to shoot and kill (and capture) them. So, I ask again: should they have not resisted?

You’re right, Shannon. These people with guns posed a serious threat to other people…..with guns……that hunted them down in order to exterminate them. They were using violence to protect themselves with violence, and violence in any form is not acceptable, even in self defense, right? It is, as you say, “offensive and stupid” to think that these Jewish fighters were doing anything productive to save themselves from certain death:

http://www.jewishpartisans.org/what-is-a-jewish-partisan

They were Jews in Europe, many of them teenagers, male and female, who fought against the Nazis during World War II. The majority were regular folks who escaped the ghettos and work camps and joined organized resistancegroups in the forests and urban underground. Non-Jewish partisans could sneak back to their homes for security and safety. The Jews had no place to go and so they were constantly moving through the shadows on the edges of cities and towns.

Some, like Polish teenager Frank Blaichman, knew their village would be turned into a ghetto; Frank escaped and joined a group of partisans in a forest. Others, like Abe Asner, were among the very few Jewish partisans with military training. Most partisans knew nothing about guns and ammunition, so people like Abe became important teachers and leaders.

People who had guns and knew how to use them were mostly welcomed with open arms. If someone wanted to join and had no weapon, some groups required them to get one, in whatever manner they could. Outsiders who came to fight the Nazis – like Russian partisan groups in Poland – valued Jews who knew local terrain and could act as their scouts.

Well that’s not good, Shannon. It seems the Jews during WW2 that made a stand against those trying to kill them valued firearms and firearms training. Surely though, these Jewish fighters had no advantage over a standing army:

The partisans fought and survived by forming organized groups. Compared to the Nazis, they had few arms and little ammunition, but were successful because they knew the lay of the land and how to use the terrain to their own advantage. One partisan remembered that, “In the forest, ten partisans seemed like a hundred to those on the outside.” The Nazis didn’t know what it was like inside the forests and swamps.

The partisans lived there under harsh conditions – without real shelter to protect them from sub-freezing temperatures and storms in the winter, or from heat and rain during other seasons. Medical supplies were scarce, and partisans died from infection and disease spread by lice. Bandages were washed and reused whenever possible.

It’s really bad that people were rising up against the Nazis, isn’t it, Shannon? They should have never done this, as it’s unbelievable that people stood their ground and refused to be part of the Holocaust:

https://encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/article/warsaw-ghetto-uprising

Between July 22 and September 12, 1942, the German authorities deported or murdered around 300,000 Jews in the Warsaw ghetto. SS and police units deported 265,000 Jews to the Treblinka killing center and 11,580 to forced-labor camps. The Germans and their auxiliaries murdered more than 10,000 Jews in the Warsaw ghetto during the deportation operations. The German authorities granted only 35,000 Jews permission to remain in the ghetto, while more than 20,000 Jews remained in the ghetto in hiding. For the at least 55,000-60,000 Jews remaining in the Warsaw ghetto, deportation seemed inevitable.

In response to the deportations, on July 28, 1942, several Jewish underground organizations created an armed self-defense unit known as the Jewish Combat Organization (Zydowska Organizacja Bojowa; ZOB). Rough estimates put the size of the ZOB at its formation at around 200 members. The right wing Revisionist Zionist movement, especially its youth group, Betar, served as the chief organizers (founders) of the Jewish Military Union (Zydowski Zwiazek Wojskowy; ZZW). Although initially there was tension between the ZOB and the ZZW, both groups decided to work together to oppose German attempts to destroy the ghetto. At the time of the uprising, the ZOB had about 500 fighters in its ranks and the ZZW had about 250.

While efforts to establish contact with the Polish military underground movement (Armia Krajowa, or Home Army) did not succeed during the summer of 1942, the ZOB established contact with the Home Army in October, and obtained a small number of weapons, mostly pistols and explosives, from Home Army contacts.

In October 1942, SS chief Heinrich Himmlerordered the liquidation of the Warsaw ghetto and deportation of its able-bodied residents to forced labor camps in the Lublin District of the Generalgouvernement. In accordance with this order, German SS and police units tried to resume mass deportations of Jews from Warsaw on January 18, 1943. A group of Jewish fighters, armed with pistols, infiltrated a column of Jews being forced to the Umschlagplatz (transfer point) and, at a prearranged signal, broke ranks and fought their German escorts. Most of these Jewish fighters died in the battle, but the attack sufficiently disoriented the Germans to allow the Jews arranged in columns at the Umschlagplatz a chance to disperse. After seizing 5,000-6,500 ghetto residents to be deported, the Germans suspended further deportations on January 21.

Encouraged by the apparent success of the resistance, which they believed may have halted deportations, members of the ghetto population began to construct subterranean bunkers and shelters in preparation for an uprising should the Germans attempt a final deportation of all remaining Jews in the reduced ghetto.

And let’s not forget the Jewish Bielski Partisans, who actually rescued other Jews from the Nazis and protected women and children (yes Shannon, they had those pesky “weapons of war”, yet they were not part of an official army, therefor I’m sure you wish they were disarmed as well):

https://www.ushmm.org/research/the-center-for-advanced-holocaust-studies/miles-lerman-center-for-the-study-of-jewish-resistance/medals-of-resistance-award/bielski-partisans

In December 1941, the Nazis murdered thousands of Jews in the Baranowicze region in western Belorussia. Among them were four members of the Bielski family: the mother, the father, and two sons. Four other sons survived: Arczyk, Asael, Tuvia, and Zus. They—along with 13 others—fled into the woods.

Tuvia Bielski sent a message to the Jews in the Nowogrodek ghetto to organize as many friends and acquaintances as possible and to send them to him in the woods. At first, only eight people answered Bielski’s call.

But over the next two years, Tuvia Bielski’s group grew to over 1,000 as more Jews fled to the forests rather than report for deportation. He never turned away any Jew, whether armed or unarmed, young or old, healthy or in need of medical attention. He insisted that resistance and rescue must go hand-in-hand.

As the Bielski’s forest camp grew, it eventually included a school for children, a clinic, a law court, and a synagogue. It also included numerous workshops, including a machine shop to repair weapons and a tannery. The camp became a mobile and dynamic Jewish community—both a family camp and a fighting unit.

Tuvia Bielski’s partisans inspired terror in the Nowogrodek region and took vengeance on the Belorussian police and on farmers who had betrayed or killed Jews. The Bielski brigade pillaged food, attacked the enemy, and destroyed supply depots. As a result, the Nazis offered a reward of 100,000 marks for Tuvia Bielski’s capture.

In the summer of 1943, the Nazis went deep into the Nalibocka Forest to fight Jewish partisan units, including the Bielski partisans. The Soviet army commander in the region, who was allied with Tuvia Bielski, called upon him to divide the camp between fighters and civilians so that the able-bodied would not be hindered by those among them unable to resist.

Tuvia Bielski refused. He moved his camp even further into the densest parts of the Nalibocka Forest. Bielski would not abandon women, children, and the elderly; he would not leave them behind to die defenseless and alone.

In the summer of 1944—when the war ended in Belorussia—over 1,200 men, women, and children emerged from the forest and marched into Nowogrodek. They had survived thanks to the daring of the Bielski partisans who insisted that rescue and resistance were inextricably connected.

They should have just given up and accepted their fate, right Shannon? Those 1200 survivors don’t matter and, as you said, it’s “inaccurate, offensive and stupid” that them being armed prevented the Holocaust (well, it sure as hell did for them).

It was useless for the Jews to attempt to fight when so greatly outnumbered, right Shannon? It was adding to the “gun violence” problem. People should just listen to the government and accept their fate, even if it means death.

Your disgusting comment stating that it is “inaccurate, offensive and stupid” that the Jews could have prevented the Holocaust just shows how morally void you are. A handful of armed, heroic and undersupplied Jews took on the Nazi war machine. They caused some major problems for the Third Reich and while they were not always successful, it showed how untrained and supply lacked partisans (freedom fighters) can engage a professional force that was hell bent on exterminating them. Now, imagine if the Nazi gun control laws didn’t include disarming Jews and making it a death sentence to posses arms in occupied Europe. Are you saying that it wouldn’t have made a difference at all?

And clueless anti-gun people wonder why so many Americans fight tooth and nail in order to stop the erosion of our 2nd amendment rights. Most of us learn from history. Unfortunately, some people don’t……

And yes, that’s real.

https://www.nytimes.com/1933/04/23/archives/permission-to-possess-arms-withdrawn-from-breslau-jews.html

Now, on to the last part of your tweet:

You’re speaking to an African American (Colion Noir).

Are you telling him that the only reason he has a right to bear arms is because he has an agenda to arm only white people? You’re a white (and Christian, yes?) American. Check your elitist white privilege, hag.

IL Senator Julie Morrison: Trampling the 1st and 2nd Amendment

Senator Morrison (D-District 29) just can’t seem to understand/uphold her oath of office.

http://www.ilga.gov/commission/lrb/con13.htm

“I do solemnly swear (affirm) that I will support the Constitution of the United States, and the Constitution of the State of Illinois, and that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the office of (name of the office here) to the best of my ability.”

That’s pretty straight forward, isn’t it? Abide by the constitution and all is good. Well, over the past week, Senator Morrison has shown that she is unfit to serve, as she is constantly breaking her oath. Let’s start with example #1, which occurred at a town hall event in Deerfield.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ts08U2673EI

Senator Morrison stated that since people don’t want to register their firearms and pay a fine (fee), that “maybe we should just have confiscation”. If she were to introduce a confiscation bill, what would the violate?

2nd Amendment

A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

4th Amendment

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

So, there’s two rights violated from a gun confiscation, and she makes it clear she is for “gun control” and also that she never has (and never will) vote for anything that strengthens or supports the 2nd amendment. Heck, it’s even on her website!

https://www.juliemorrisonforstatesenate.com/issues/gun-control-public-safety

It’s even part of the Illinois Constitution:

http://www.ilga.gov/commission/lrb/conent.htm

SECTION 22. RIGHT TO ARMS
Subject only to the police power, the right of the individual citizen to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

Moving on, as we have all seen plenty of what was said by her last week. It now seems though that Senator Morrison wishes to add another right she violated to to the above: the first Amendment, which you will see.

I can understand why a politicians would block, especially if people are trolling them and not discussing their policies and their actions. However, one twitter user was blocked because they tagged Senator Morrison over what she said in Deerfield:

This post seemed to have resulted in this happening:

The user stated that they posted a meme of her in a Nazi uniform (photoshopped) due to the comparison of her statement and what the tyrants of the 20th century did (disarmed their political opponents and made them their victims), so that also could have resulted in a block. Meme is here:

Note, Julie Morrison is NOT a member of the NSDAP

Whichever one did it (the post or the meme), it was because of her policies and her own spoke remarks and proposed bills, therefor it was a legitimate criticism of her legislative stances. Word got out about the social media block (and other users came forward as well), which led her to make a statement today:

175 comments on it so far (wow). But notice how it’s worded? “We will remove posts WE deem abusive, inflammatory…….”. So, let’s look at the 1st amendment and see if elected officials get to censor people based on what THEY deem “abusive and inflammatory”:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Illinois Constitution:

SECTION 4. FREEDOM OF SPEECH
All persons may speak, write and publish freely, being responsible for the abuse of that liberty. In trials for libel, both civil and criminal, the truth, when published with good motives and for justifiable ends, shall be asufficient defense.
(Source: Illinois Constitution.)

The ACLU even has taken elected officials to court over this (and won):

https://www.aclu.org/blog/free-speech/internet-speech/court-rules-public-officials-cant-block-critics-facebook

One of the core purposes of the First Amendment is to allow people, regardless of their views, to hold the government accountable through expression. So, if your elected representative has an official Facebook page where she invites comments, can she block you from commenting because you criticize her work?

According to a federal appeals court, the answer is a resounding no.

On Monday, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the interactive portion of a public official’s Facebook page is a “public forum,” so an official cannot block people from it because of the opinions they hold.

Within the span of a week, Senator Morrison has shown how dear to her heart the constitution (both federal and state) is, and it seems like it’s not very close to it at all due to her statements and actions. Not a good look for a Senator.

Illinois State Senator Julie Morrison talks confiscation of firearms “for safety”

We’ve heard it all before. It’s not “gun control”, it’s “gun safety” or “gun sense”. That’s total BS, as it’s just a rebranding of the term to make it sound nice. Heck, Bloomberg’s Moms even admitted to it 2 months after they formed:

https://momsdemandaction.org/group-is-fighting-for-gun-control-but-dropping-use-of-the-term/

What’s in a name? A lot, if your name includes the term “gun control.” So in a nod to the political realities of the moment, a group founded in the days after the Newtown, Conn., school shooting is officially changing its name by dropping the politically loaded term.

Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America is the new name for an organization formerly known as One Million Moms for Gun Control, the group’s founder will announce Wednesday. The change was prompted by confusion with another group, One Million Moms, which advocates for family-friendly entertainment media — and because the group’s old name includes the term “gun control.”

“We’ve gotten a lot of feedback from stakeholders that ‘gun control’ isn’t the best term to use because it can be polarizing,” the group’s founder, Shannon Watts, said in an interview Tuesday. “We don’t want to be polarizing – we want to be a nonpartisan organization. We’re not about overturning the Second Amendment or banning guns, but we also don’t believe that we should arm every citizen.”

Watts, a former public relations executive, said the feedback came from “the legislative community, from other people in advocacy organization and from our own members, from moms who are conservative or NRA members who said to us, this term ‘gun control’ is polarizing, we need to come up with a better name so it makes it seem like we can all sit under the same umbrella.”

So now that we got that out of the way (gun safety/gun sense=gun control), let’s discuss what happened last night (6/11/19) in Deerfield, Illinois at a town hall event with State Senator Julie Morrison.

Morrison is the driving force between many anti-2nd amendment bills that have been introduced in the senate. She despises gun owners and firearms all together. She was the main sponsor for SB107, which is an “assault weapon” ban which would stop further sales and require current owners of so-called “assault weapons” to register them with the state police and pay a fee (pretty much a tax) in order to keep them. If you fail to do so, congratulations! You just became a felon (and lose your 2nd amendment rights all together).

http://www.ilga.gov/legislation/fulltext.asp?DocName=&SessionId=108&GA=101&DocTypeId=SB&DocNum=107&GAID=15&LegID=115114&SpecSess=&Session=

As most 2A supporters will tell you, registration leads to confiscation. The anti-gun activists and politicians say it doesn’t. They say “no one wants your guns”. Well, thanks to Senator Morrison last night, we know that’s not true. Please watch the following exchange:

(Click the link, it’s only a minute long)

You heard it. Clear as day. She got mad at a legitimate question she was asked and out of spite, said “screw it! I’ll just take the damn things” (confiscation). What’s even more shocking is that her Moms Demand Action supporters applauded the statement, further cementing that they themselves are not looking for “responsible gun safety laws”, but are looking for firearms to be taken by force (if necessary) from law abiding citizens.

Make no mistake, folks. These politicians are not interested in the legality of such actions or protecting your constitutional right to bear arms. They want your guns and they will gladly turn you into a felon at the stroke of a pen. They will also gladly send people with guns to your home in order to force you to hand over your guns. If you resist, you get arrested or even shot and killed. These legislators and their activist allies are enemies of the constitution and they make that clear. They hide behind fancy terms which deceive the uneducated. This (below) was the reaction of one Moms Demand Action member when Morrison suggested confiscation. She looked back at the 2A crowd and had a glowing smile on her face.

She must think the thought of law enforcement kicking down the door of a family, with their firearms at the ready and prepared to kill, is a funny way to force owners of legally owned semi-automatic rifles and handguns to surrender their property or die. This is not a joke, but our opponents seem to think it is. They don’t care about our safety or well being and would breath a sigh of relief if a few of us were incarcerated or even killed in the confiscation process.

Keep up the fight, and never surrender your firearms.

How anti-gunners (activists, organizations, and politicians) politicized a tragedy: the STEM school Highlands Ranch, Colorado shooting

As we all know, on 5/7/19 two gunmen entered STEM and opened fire, wounding 8 and killing 1. The young man who was killed (Kendrick Castillo) gave his life to assist bringing an end to the shooting.

The day of the shooting, the politicizing of it began. This is a CORA (Colorado Open Records Act) we obtained that describes the order in which the “vigil” was formed:

Through another CORA request, we stumbled upon the Union President in question offering “support” prior to vigil. Email chain was not related to shooting at first, but a response changed that:

Kallie Leyba is the President of the Douglas County Federation, which is the teacher’s union for the Douglas County School District. Leyba released a statement on behalf of the DCF the day of the STEM shooting:

So now, let’s connect the dots to make sure we have the right person in which the Brady Campaign contacted in order to hold an event.

-She is the local union president, so

-Brady had people (students) in the school where the vigil was to be held, so

-Her child was a class of 2018 graduate of HRHS, she knew some of the students, so another (from December of 2017, which means her son was class of 2018 if a senior)

She also sent out a tweet on the night the shooting occurred about a planned vigil to take place at Highlands Ranch High School:

The following day, she sent this out, as it had been organized:

If you click on the link in the tweet, it takes you here (it is a Brady Campaign event):

https://www.mobilize.us/brady/event/92098/

And the host of the Brady Campaign event (website)? A Progressive (Democrat) site for organizing (partisan, which the event was supposed to be a vigil, not a political rally):

Now, the CORA (first one) states that Kallie contacted the Team ENOUGH students at HRHS about holding a vigil. Well, there’s more to it than that, which brings us to Emily Muellenberg, a teacher at HRHS:

https://hrhschronicle.wordpress.com/2018/11/05/muellenberg-and-two-other-students-visit-student-gun-violence-summit-at-washington-d-c/

On Oct. 19 through Oct. 21, social studies teacher Emily Muellenberg, senior and Falcons For Progress president Maddie Crea, and senior Niaz Jamshidi traveled to Washington D.C to attend the Student Gun Violence Summit. At this summit, Muellenberg, Crea, and Jamshidi, along with about 100 students and 50 educators from across the United States, assembled to discuss the gun issues in America.

While in Washington D.C, these 150 students and educators wrote a students’ bill of rights for schools across the country to reduce gun violence. When talking about the students’  bill of rights, Crea said, “It’s 15 points put together about what students want to see changed in our education system in terms of school safety, community safety, mental health, and legislation.”

This Student Gun Violence Summit was created after the Parkland shooting occurred in 2018. A group of students from organizations such as Students Demand Action and March For Our Lives came together to create a student advisory board to plan the Student Gun Violence Summit. “From the beginning, the end goal was to have a document that said how students feel,” Crea said, “and it’s not just about students that have survived from school shootings, but also kids that are allies and from places all around the country.”

Muellenberg, who is an active member of The American Federation of Teachers, was introduced to the idea of attending this event from the president of the American Federation of Teachers. The president thought it would be good if Muellenberg went, knowing that she works with many student advocacy groups. Mullenberg said, “She thought that if I went, I could help connect the group of kids who might be the right kids to send forward into this project.”

Muellenberg also discovered that she had a passion for the Student Gun Violence Summit. She said, “To me, gun violence is not a partisan issue. To me, it’s not about the second amendment. It’s about the requirement that Americans help keep each other safe, and I figure in a school,  we’re all at risk all the time, and that is just an uncomfortable feeling, and if I can help in any small way, I’m in.”

Since returning from the conference, Mullenberg, Crea, and Jamshidi look to bring the information they learned from the summit back to HR. Crea said, “FFP is going to start working towards promoting this issue, gun violence, and the first thing is educating people.” She went on to elaborate on how she doesn’t want it to be a partisan issue. She said, “It doesn’t have to be a liberal idea or a conservative idea; it’s just keeping kids safe in school.”

Muellenberg hopes to continue her involvement with the Student Gun Violence Summit in the future. She said, “This means enough to me, and especially after working with these kids, I owe it to them to keep it going. I can’t let them down.”

Muellenberg is also the sponsor for the HRHS chapter of Team ENOUGH (bet you didn’t see that coming):

https://www.cpr.org/news/story/frustrated-with-adults-stem-school-shooting-survivors-take-over-vigil-in-highlands-ranch

“We are profoundly sorry,” said Emily Muellenberg, the teacher sponsor of Team Enough at Highlands Ranch.

Now, let’s fast forward to what happened at the vigil.

As you see, the STEM students saw right through what the vigil actually was. It was a gun control rally in which gun control groups (specifically the Brady Campaign and Moms Demand Action via Laura Reeves) and Democrat Colorado politicians used to push gun control, not be non-partisan and honor the hero student who was killed.

Fun fact about Laura BTW, she’s buddies with Shannon Watts (national leader/founder of Moms Demand Action, the queen more of politicizing shootings):

Now, above in the Denver Post article, Emily Muellenberg stated that the “students put the vigil together”. She also stated that in her apology about the event on behalf of Team ENOUGH/Brady Campaign:

https://coloradocommunitymedia.com/stories/letter-to-the-community-from-one-of-the-events-organizers,280541

Editor’s note: The following letter was written by Team ENOUGH Colorado sponsor Emily Muellenberg, who said it was delivered last week to the school board, STEM School Highlands Ranch, event speakers, the principal of Highlands Ranch High, the director of security for DCSD and the student organizers in the spirit of restoration. Muellenberg is one of the vigil organizers.

An open letter to the Highlands Ranch Community:

I would like to begin by first profoundly apologizing to anyone who was upset by the vigil at Highlands Ranch High School last night. It was of course as far from our intent as could be. I also want to take a moment to clarify a few points that might help people process, listen, reflect, and heal. In the raw moments of tragedy, we all respond so differently, and we all need so many different things, myself included, evidenced by this project and this letter. I hope this provides something for you.

First, it should be made clear that the event was not a Highlands Ranch High School sponsored event. The gym was theirs, some of us on the organizing team are Falcons, but that is the extent of the school’s involvement.  As members of Team ENOUGH Colorado and the Highlands Ranch community, we wanted to offer our organization as a resource to host an event that could bring the community together. Team ENOUGH is a national organization that is the student arm of Brady, a gun violence prevention non-profit organization …  (Brady) frequently reaches out to communities impacted by gun violence because it has resources and tools on survivorship, grief, and community building. This was the purpose of our involvement here, and not political, as Brady strives for bipartisan solution-seeking…………………

As for the students who organized the event:  They are exceptional. They threw themselves into this project as a way to give something we thought was much needed to this community, and I believe that given the attendance size, they were right; this was a needed event.

Well……not entirely true. Via another CORA request:

Emily spent much of 5/8/19 planning the vigil during the school day. You can clearly see she was putting the Brady Campaign’s priorities over her duties as an educator.

After the backfiring of the incident she planned, when the press reached out to her prior to writing her letter to the community, she even gave the press statement of the Brady Campaign:

So what have we learned from all of this? We learned that anti-gun activists will jump at the opportunity to use dead/wounded children to advance the causes of organizations they belong to. We learned that anti-gun politicians love the spotlight to use dead bodies as a campaign platform. We learned that the adults are in fact the ones behind the scenes organizing these “student led” gun control events. We learned that some students see through the BS and are willing to stand up to it and not be used as pawns in an agenda.

Kallie Leyba, SHAME ON YOU!

-Emily Muellenberg, SHAME ON YOU!

-Laura Reeves/Moms Demand Action, SHAME ON YOU!

-Elected officials that used the suffering to gain votes, SHAME ON YOU!

-Brady Campaign, SHAME ON YOU!

-Students of STEM that made a stand, WELL DONE!

****Special note: The Douglas County School District itself had no part in the planning of this political rally. It was all organized and planned by outside entities and insiders working on behalf of outside political organizations and groups.

Gun Rights group disinvited from Buffalo Grove, IL Pride parade the day before it happened

(Update 6/3/19: at the request of commenters, redactions are in place. This article is to tell a story of an event, not to put any commenters on the spot (from either side). It’s not hard to tell which side is which, so the core remains)

I’m going to keep this short, but it’s a story that needs to be told. The first annual BG Pride parade happened on 6/2/19. The Parade was organized by Carolyn Pinta and her family to support their openly gay daughter, Molly. It’s an honorable thing for a parent to do for their child. It’s what parents should do (support their children). According to Carolyn, everyone was welcomed to attend and participate:

Here is a list of participants who marched in the parade and some information on it:

I’m going to be focusing on two of the participants: IGOT (Illinois Guns Owners Together) And Moms Demand Action For Gun Sense In America. There’s a key factor here, as Carolyn Pinta is the area lead for the Buffalo Grove Moms Demand Action group:

https://www.chicagotribune.com/suburbs/buffalo-grove/ct-bgc-column-simons-tl-0510-story.html

The leader of this chapter is Carolyn Pinta, and she was nice enough to share some of her thoughts with me about the group and her experience as its leader.

“I got involved with MDA early last fall and have been lucky enough to assist in some very exciting work in (Illinois) with the passing of SB 1657, the Gun Dealer Licensing Act. Although the bill was vetoed by the governor, the fact that it passed both the Senate and the House with bipartisan support shows that Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America is a force to be reckoned with,” Pinta said. “It is also important to know that although we carry the name Moms Demand Action, we encourage the membership of dads, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandparents and absolutely anyone willing to support the cause.”

IGOT had a call out for people to attend the parade to march with them:

As did Carolyn’s local Moms Demand Action chapter (and also the state one):

So, what happened the day before the Parade?

That’s right. Pinta told them not to come. Also notice that comments on the post inside the BG Pride 2019 group were turned off? Here’s what went down:

So, a pro second amendment group wanted to have their members who supported/were part of the LGBTQ community march and show support for the parade and LGBTQ Rights, but were told at the last minute they were no longer welcome to march in it. I also like the comment made to IGOT that stated “I don’t care if your supporters shit glitter and rainbows”. So tolerant and welcoming. That’s not all, though:

Group moderator is the one locking these posts/comments. In fairness, it was a very heated debate and it is common for mods to do things such as this.

So, so far we have the parade organizers disinviting a pro LGBTQ gun rights group because

1. They might promote a pro-2A message to the LGBTQ community

And

2. They support law enforcement

So what about the gun control group/Carolyn’s group Moms Demand Action?

It’s clear as day that Carolyn Pinta pulled a fast one last minute on IGOT because although they support the LGBTQ community and their rights, they don’t support her gun control agenda. One person stated that the event shouldn’t be used to push pro-2A stuff, but why is it ok for gun control to be pushed then? The members of IGOT who are gay, lesbian, trans, etc were not given the chance to show their Pride because they don’t conform entirely to Moms Demand Action and Carolyn’s beliefs. Isn’t that discrimination I guess LGBTQ IGOT members/supporters should drink from a different water fountain and sit on the back of the bus as well…….

Who wants to see the power that Moms Demand Action has on weak/allied politicians?

As many know, anti-gun legislators are on a roll nationwide. In response to that, pro-2nd amendment/constitution legislators and politicians are attempting to make a stand. They’re presenting 2nd amendment sanctuary counties (will not abide by radical unconstitutional laws if passed by the majority held party located in heavily anti-gun urban areas). Now, in 2018, Illinois counties started declaring themselves sanctuary counties. Here’s an example of what happens and how resolutions are killed:

https://willcountygazette.com/stories/511491258-will-county-considers-gun-rights-resolution

So a Moms Demand Action member reached out on her own and said that she was saddened and mad that the resolution attacked pro second amendment words that would tell the anti-gunners “no” in an attempt to take their right away. This individual stated that it caused problems and “haven’t we had enough of that?”. Yes, we’ve had enough of you swine trying to take our rights away. Seriously, we have. Moving on….

In a later email, Erin is also CC’d

So the pro-2A sanctuary county measure in Will County was so far defeated, but not without Bloomberg’s Moms getting something in return. And yes, their call for unity “haven’t we had enough of this?” was pushed aside because THEY got what they want:

https://www.chicagotribune.com/suburbs/daily-southtown/ct-sta-will-county-board-guns-0517-story.html

proclamation declaring June 7 as National Gun Violence Awareness Day sparked objections from some Will County Board members.

Board members typically approve proclamations with little debate, but Thursday’s vote sparked heated debate on the issues of gun violence and gun owner rights. The proclamation passed by a vote of 18-6, with the dissenting votes coming from Republican board members.

so as you see, that caused an issue. Did MDA Care? Nope.

Members of Moms Demand Action applauded the county board’s passage of the proclamation and said it will help draw attention to the issue. Though not surprised by the opposition, local group lead Sharon Seliga questioned Balich’s concern over the term “gun violence.”

These people (MDA) prey on politicians through them being moms and cry baby females (no offense, ladies. I know you all don’t use your gender to get what you want). Some politicians bite. The reality is that they are disgusting opportunistic vultures that don’t care about unity, only causing more division. That’s the reality folks.

Fix the FOID: less rights for us, more money for cronies

Rep. Kathleen Willis introduced amendment HCA1 to SB1966. It is known as “Fix the FOID”. One of the draconian requirements in it is mandatory fingerprinting of all FOID card holders (legal gun owners in Illinois). Let’s have a look at how profits are involved. Let’s look at one of the proponents of this, Accurate Biometrics (a fingerprinting business):

Since this would mean a windfall of cash in their pockets, of course they support it (thanks for selling us out just so you could profit. So patriotic). But let’s look at Chicago/Springfield Consultants:

How bout that? It’s their lobbyist. So let’s see who’s with that company, starting with the president of it:

Ok, so now let’s bring up anti-2nd amendment Cook county sheriff Tom Dart:

You get the idea. So what does this have to do with the president (Jan Starr) of the lobbying firm representing Accurate Biometrics?

What?????? She’s a Dart donor and also is/was a consultant for him? Jeeze. I wonder if it can get any worse. Yep. Look at the Vice President of Accurate Biometrics lobbying firm:

It’s even on her LinkedIn page:

And Dart on fingerprinting?

https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/ct-met-illinois-foid-gun-card-fingerprinting-20190409-story.html

Looks like Accurate Biometrics, represented by Dart’s people, are looking to create a HUGE windfall of money. Rep. Willis said prints can be done for $28. There are 2.3 million FOID card holders in Illinois. 2.3 million x $28 is $64,400,000! Wow! Talk about a huge profit for cronies.

And Accurate Biometrics has contracts with Chicago, so start piecing all of this together……

http://accurate-biometrics.com/fingerprinting_Procedures.html

Once again, this has NOTHING to do about safety, just more control for the government and more money to the cronies.
