The Truth About March For Our Lives Part 2: The Road To Change Tour (the scam of the decade)

NOTE: OPTIMIZED FOR MOBILE VIEWING

This is a continuation of part 1, located here:

https://ilwd4cr.home.blog/2019/04/14/the-truth-about-march-for-our-lives-and-the-fallout-of-the-msd-shooting-part-1-the-beginning/

On June 4 2018, months after the national (worldwide, actually) protests that demanded congress “do something” about guns, it was announced by Cameron Kasky that March for our lives would be kicking off a summer tour.

https://www.teenvogue.com/story/march-for-our-lives-road-to-change-nationwide-tour

Parkland survivor Cameron Kasky was among several Marjory Stoneman Douglas students at a press conference announcing the March for Our Lives: Road to Change tour on Monday, June 4. The nationwide tour had been reported previously by Refinery29.

The Refinery29 article is where the tour (before it even launches) gets interesting.

March for Our Lives: Road to Change kicks off June 15 at the Peace March in Chicago, led by the students of St. Sabina Academy. The bus tour will make more than 75 stops through August. Student activists will also hold a separate, simultaneous tour making 27 stops in Florida alone, visiting every congressional district in the state.

FL Governor Candidate Andrew Gillum

June 15 at St. Sabina’s in Chicago, which is Father Michael Pfleger’s Church. Oddly enough, on May 27, a member of his personal “security detail” was arrested for carrying/possessing a firearm illegally at the church (yes, you heard that right).

https://catholiccitizens.org/news/79421/bodyguard-chicagos-famous-anti-gun-priest-caught-illegal-gun/

Chicago’s most famous anti-gun Catholic priest was just hit with some embarrassing news when his bodyguard was arrested for illegally carrying a gun.

Loudmouth priest Father Michael Pfleger found the unwelcome news late in May when his bodyguard, Henry Eugene Hale, 35, was arrested outside the Father’s church. Police found that Hale did not have an Illinois firearm card or a concealed carry license and was therefore carrying the gun illegally.

A spokesperson for the Chicago Police Department TOLDChicago City Wire that officers confronted Hale at the church at 1200 W. 78th Place when “they saw him holding a firearm.”

Illinois records show that Hale allowed his Firearms Identification Card (FOID) expire last year and did not renew it. He was also a certified security guard in the state, but allowing his FOID to lapse put that certification in jeopardy. According to his employment record he was once disciplined, but there are no details as to why.

(Side note: There is current legislation under review as of 4/15/19 in Illinois that would prompt law enforcement to seize firearms if a person’s FOID card is revoked or expires. Hale would have been “flagged.” In a lower court in Illinois, FOID cards have been deemed unconstitutional under the People Vs. Brown ruling).

So, we have the event kickoff at a place in which 2 weeks prior, a man who is directly connected to Father Pfleger (identified as being part of his ARMED security detail) was arrested outside his church because he was carrying an “illegal” gun. Think about that for a minute…….

The event was still a success for them (press wise), and even though someone close to the Father was arrested committing a state crime with a firearm, he was still embraced by March For Our Lives as a hero for gun control.

Emma Gonzalez and Michael Pfleger

https://www.chicagocatholic.com/chicagoland/-/article/2018/06/19/parkland-students-kickoff-national-tour-with-rally-at-st-sabi-1

Now, one might ask why? Why Chicago to kick the tour off? In part one I talked about Superintendent Robert Runcie’s ties to Obama’s former Secretary of Education Arne Duncan (and also the email exchange between Arne and Rahm Emanuel on how to use the Sandy Hook shooting to advance the gun control agenda). Well, Arne is involved in Chicago being the tour’s first stop:

https://www.newyorker.com/news/dispatch/launching-a-national-gun-control-coalition-the-parkland-teens-meet-chicagos-young-activists

The Parkland students had first met with student activists from the South and West Sides of Chicago back in early March, less than three weeks after the shooting in Florida. The meeting, which was held at González’s parents’ house, had been closed to the media, but the next day González posted some photos, showing the now familiar and mostly white student activists from Stoneman Douglas with some other young people, all of them African-American, sitting around her parents’ screened-in swimming pool.

“I’ve never seen someone so excited to meet strangers before,” D’Angelo McDade, an eighteen-year-old who went on the trip to Florida, recently recalled of González. “She’s like, ‘Can I hug you guys?’ ” The meeting had been proposed by Arne Duncan, the former Secretary of Education under Barack Obama, and was paid for by the Emerson Collective, the philanthropic organization founded by Laurene Powell Jobs, where Duncan is a managing partner.

The young people went out to the pool behind González’s house while their older chaperones stayed inside. They played get-to-know-you games because, McDade said, “the amount of trauma that Parkland students and some of our Chicago students had gone through just that week and that month alone is too dramatic to constantly talk about it.”

Once again, more proof of political elitists and philanthropists running the show from early on, not the students. With all of this said, it’s time to dig into behind the scenes of “the Road To Change.”

The march on the 24th was a single event, but in order to maintain momentum, the show needed to hit the road. The supporters have been rallied and pumped up, but what would the next step be to “hold elected leaders accountable” for not voting in favor of gun control? Voting them out.

https://www.dallasnews.com/news/2018-elections/2018/06/26/parkland-students-coming-totexas-july-register-young-voters-march-lives-bus-tour

The tour kicked off in Chicago on June 15 and will make 75 stops in more than 20 states through August. Groups including Rock the Vote and the NAACP are partnering with the students to aid in registering young voters, especially because more than 4 million Americans turned 18 this year and are newly eligible to vote.

“In every city we visit, we have connected with young people who share our commitment to changing their communities and making them safer,” said Alfonso Calderon, a survivor of the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Fla., in a statement. “We’re excited to continue on Road To Change throughout the rest of the summer, where we’ll continue to register young people to vote so that their voices are heard.”

Rock the Vote is a key player in this. It’s a non-profit organization (heavily “progressive” leaning) whose stated mission is “to engage and build the political power of young people.” Translation: register impressionable people to vote. One of the directors of the org is Michael Skolnik

Rock the vote also hosted the “register to vote” section on the March For Our Lives website

The link was on the Rock the Vote website, but it has since been removed (link dead)

There was also #TurnOutTuesday, which was a March For Our Lives brand (Powered by Rock the Vote)

They also sent supplies for this to public high schools (Arlington Heights, IL District 214 in this case)

Ok, so big deal, right? A “progressive” group is helping a “progressive” cause, registering people to vote (could be from either party I guess), who cares? Time to dive deeper into Skolnik and his organization, the SOZE agency. Let’s let his own bio start to paint the picture

https://about.me/michaelskolnik

Michael Skolnik was recently profiled in the NY Timesand identified as “the man you go to if you want to leverage the power of celebrity and the reach of digital media to soften the ground for social change.” But, besides all of that, he is most proud to be the father of Mateo Ali, a rambunctious five year old.

In his day job, he is the co-founder and partner of The Soze Agency, a social impact agency that partners with companies, non-profits, foundations and movements to create campaigns that uplift compassion, authenticity and equity. The Soze Agency is a worker’s owned cooperative.

He is a respected leader in the new social justice movement, and has helped ignite conversations around America’s relationship with race, the deaths of Trayvon Martin, Mike Brown and Eric Garner, and the Obama and Trump presidencies.

“Helped ignite conversations” is a nice way of saying “stirring the pot and causing problems”. Trayvon Martin and Mike Brown deaths, does anyone recall what movement that started?

In 2013, the movement began with the use of the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter on social media after the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the shooting death of African-American teen Trayvon Martin in February 2012. Black Lives Matter became nationally recognized for its street demonstrations following the 2014 deaths of two African Americans: Michael Brown—resulting in protests and unrest in Ferguson

We’ll come back to Skolnik/BLM/MFOL Connection, after we talk about the NRA boycott and

https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/national-international/Parkland-Timeline-Never-Again-Activism-505560931.html?amp=y

Feb. 23, 2018

After ThinkProgress publishes a story highlighting the over two dozen corporations offering discounts to NRA members, several companies responded that they were terminating their agreements with the gun rights group. Activist Michael Skolnik posts on Twitter a list of the companies that still have a relationship with the NRA and launches the hashtag #BoycottNRA. Within 48 hours, MetLife, Hertz, Symantec Corp, Enterprise Holdings, First National Bank of Omaha, and other companies announced they were ending discount programs for NRA members.

There you have it. Mr. Skolnik spearheaded the arm twisting of companies who had ties to the National Rifle Association. He also helped spearhead the National School Walkout (announcing two days after the shooting)

Now, let’s look at his agency, SOZE, and their clients

https://www.wearesoze.com

Coming back to the highlighted NAACP part

#NeverAgain…..

Coincidence? Probably, yet…

I don’t think I need to elaborate more one that, so let’s do a turbo round of Skolnik and move on.

Skolnik was front and center when MFOL protested at NRA HQ on 8/4/18:

Skolnik Butted in when Slightly Offensive interviewed the students and started asking hard questions (FF to 5:41)

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gHbu2PC5yHk

And so was Emiliana Guereca at 6:45

SOZE promoted both March For Our Lives AND Black Lives Matter (coming back from a bit ago above)

Matt Deitsch, Co-Founder of MFOL holding a Co-event with BLM (see activists in background).

Matt also interned with SOZE

And the evidence of BLM working side by side MFOL (because their movement was fading and needed to be brought back into the spotlight)

https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/years-black-lives-matter-inspires-protest-movements/story?id=56702439

https://marquettewire.org/3990336/featured/beg-black-lives-matter-needs-the-same-praise-as-march-for-our-lives/

A teaser photo was included in part one (along with anti-Constitution NY governor Cuomo)

And the link, as stated, is Skolnik. He gets things done, but…..

https://www.nytimes.com/2015/11/22/nyregion/michael-skolnik-political-director-for-russell-simmons-fights-for-civil-rights.html

Though none of its members would speak publicly, Black Lives Matter and other groups have occasionally looked askance at Mr. Skolnik, not only because he is white, but also because he is close to the establishment: the sort of activist who has Mayor Bill de Blasio’s private number in his cellphone or, for that matter, attends gala balls at the Apollo. But he was welcomed warmly that night by all sorts of people, including Alphonso B. David, who is the counsel to Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo, and Raymond Santana Jr., one of the Central Park Five.

Before I close out Skolnik, once again back to part one (Nina Vinik):

https://www.chicagotribune.com/hoy/ct-hoy-8138050-michael-skolnik-speaks-at-whatifchicago-during-chicago-ideas-week-story.html

The idea behind the #whatifchicago panel was to invite the city into the discussion.

To respond to the suggestions were Chicago Police Department’s Superintendent, Garry McCarthy, Annette Nance-Holt, Chicago Firefighter, David Hemenway, Ph.D, Nina Vinik, Senior Program Officer of The Joyce Foundation and Michael Skolnik, Political Director to Hip-Hop pioneer, Russell Simmons and the Co-President of GlobalGrind.com.

https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/Chicago-Searches-For-a-Way-to-End-Gun-Violence-173729891.html

On social media and in these raps … he’s talking about violence and really taunting people,” McCarthy said of Chicago rapper Chief Keef.

Keef was brought up several times as the panel discussed his comments about revenge on Twitter and in his lyrics. “[Chief Keef says], ‘That’s the only way I can do it is get a gun. I can get a gun in five minutes,’” said Michael Skolnik, political director to Russell Simmons.

Skolnik said he conducted high school studies that showed kids really can get a gun in five minutes, and that’s a problem.

An even bigger barrier to changing that? When anyone can get a gun on the corner, but they won’t tell you what corner or who they got the weapon from, said panelist Nina Vinik of the Joyce Foundation. They know who has a gun, they know who killed people, they just won’t tell.

And FINALLY, Skolnik helped get the #Resist Trump movement off the ground. From 1/10/17, 10 days before Donald Trump took office

http://anewdomain.net/the-movement-to-oppose-trump-12-things-to-do/

9 days before

Now, to briefly discuss Headcount.org

Like Rock the Vote, Headcount is another voter enrollment organization, but is usually at concerts that many young people attend. They also capitalized on the Road to Change tour

And they had some help

Pictured with David Hogg and Andy Bernstein is Valerie Jarrett, a Senior Adviser to former President Obama (and also on the right is Gene Sperling, Assistant to the President for Economic Policy under Presidents Clinton and Obama, but no need to talk about him)

https://thehill.com/homenews/news/380081-valerie-jarrett-at-dc-rally-intimidated-lawmakers-should-stand-up-to-the-nra?amp

“What we see here is young people saying, ‘We’re not asking for permission, we’re not intimidated by the NRA. We are empowered to ensure that we change our country.’ And they’re doing that,” she said.

Jarrett made the comments amid the “March for Our Lives” rally in Washington, D.C., and cities across the country pushing for action to curb gun violence.

The entire Road to Change was a cross country movement to fire up young impressionable people to attend concerts/events, get them on board with gun control (and various other left leaning causes), get them to commit to voting for one political ideology, and hope that more left leaning politicians were elected. That is all it was (and the impressionable youth and masses bought it). No matter what side of the political spectrum you’re on, it should cause you concern that a tragedy such as the MSD shooting was turned into a recruitment drive for the Democratic Party (and also a mass organizing to dismantle the 2nd amendment under the term “common sense gun safety laws”).

Still more to come, as we haven’t even touched the die-ins and money 🙂

The scary part is, yesterday (4/15/19) a new announcement was made. They are not done yet:

https://www.prweek.com/article/1581981/march-lives-activism-spreads-times-square?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

How do you organize a generation? How do you coordinate millions of young people focused on one of the most important issues of our day? How do you mobilize them and let them know that their time is now? You engage in every way you can with a fierce perseverance, because the stakes couldn’t be higher.

A year ago on February 18, four days after the mass shooting at our high school, we announced the March For Our Lives, an international demonstration that would ultimately involve nearly a million people from around the world demanding action to end gun violence in our communities.

We knew then, as we know now, that the voices of young people must be heard. Since the March, we have been dedicated to creating a space so all of us could send a message that we must do something about our nation’s gun violence epidemic.

Today, March For Our Lives takes another step in our effort to engage the public and to keep the gun violence prevention movement front and center. For the next two weeks, a series of billboards in Times Square will remind Americans that we must come together to save lives.

Over the next 14 days, this unifying message will reach nearly five and a half million people.

And from the time of this final edit (check date) it is live in Times Square

During the Road to Change, MFOL activists marched to protest at Smith & Wesson HQ

https://www.bostonmagazine.com/news/2018/08/21/50-miles-march-smith-wesson-springfield/

Earlier this year, when Massachusetts teenagers erupted into protest, marches, walkouts and rallies after the horrific school shooting in Parkland, Florida, the common refrain you heard from them was that their calls for gun reform were more than just a moment; they were a movement.

Now, several months later and after the fervor that followed the mass shooting in Florida has begun to die down, local teenagers now say they will remind everyone of the dangers that persist in a country where widespread, under-regulated, high-powered weapons are readily available. On Thursday, they plan to begin a four-day trek from Worcester to the Smith & Wesson facility in Springfield in a 50 Miles More march, one of several planned around the country.

“This 50 Mile walk is about accountability,” student organizer Vikiana Petit-Homme said in a statement. “Smith & Wesson continues to profit from guns used in horrific mass shootings and daily gun violence in our communities. We have had enough. We are demanding that they work with us to be a part of the solution, not the problem.”

As you know, the Women’s March and MFOL are closely connected, which brings us to Linda Sarsour and the Women’s March (who organized the national school walkout on 3/14/18)

https://freebeacon.com/issues/womens-march-announces-school-walk-gun-control/

Now, why would a true gun control activist promote an armed counter protest?

Now, enhance

Enhance

Roll mark covered with tape. I wonder what it is (and what does this have to do with their friends marching to protest Smith & Wesson)?

Yikes! Bet they thought no one would notice 😉

And nice job camera guy

Are we starting to see what these movements (all linked together) are about yet?????????????

It doesn’t have a damn thing to do with safety.

The Truth about March For Our Lives (and the fallout of the MSD shooting) Part 1: The Beginning

!!!NOTE: MAY NEED TO SWIPE LEFT/RIGHT TO SEE ALL DOCUMENTS ON YOUR BROWSER!!!

This is the first article in a multi-article story (too much information to put in one article alone, so breaking it up into sections by timeline is what is being done). This movement/group took the country (and most of the civilized world) by storm last year and is responsible for many of legislative fights regarding the 2nd amendment we are currently experiencing around the country, especially red flag laws. Part one will cover from the very first rally up until the national March on 3/24/18. This will not be focused on the students that are the mouthpieces, but rather the people pulling the strings behind the scenes.

On 2/14/18, a highly disturbed individual (I will not name him) committed one of the worst mass shootings in American history.  We all know the story, so I will not dive deep into going over it all here.  Because of this horrific incident in Parkland, Florida, a student created a movement with the purpose of addressing “gun violence” so that it would never happen again.  Sounds honorable, and it may have started out as such (political opinions aside).  He (Cameron Kasky) believed what he was doing was right and could make a difference, and you can’t fault someone on that if that is what they deep down truly believe, as this is America, and we are allowed to express our beliefs openly.  However, very soon after his group (March For Our Lives) was formed, professional political activists seized the moment and hijacked the movement (and the kids along with it). Lets get started.

The first organized event was put together (posted online) by 10:10PM on 2/15/18 and was hosted by the Miami-Dade chapter of the Women’s March. This was only 1.5 days after the shooting occured.

A3ACA1F8-753B-4691-9ADE-0E3D14C885E4

As you can see, many special interest groups were sponsors (including Moms Demand Action and various education organizations). When you expand on the event details, it starts to paint the picture slightly. The very first “March For Our Lives” event was hosted, as said, by the local chapter of the Women’s March, BUT it was put together by the office of Florida State Senator Gary Farmer.

In this article, it even says as such (along with a photo of one of the student spokesman for the group, Alex Wind).

https://news.wgcu.org/post/student-survivors-deadliest-high-school-shooting-take-role-gun-control-activists

74829168-3060-4963-962C-55993DB1A5C3

The day after the first rally, the Women’s March had announced a National School Walkout to protest “gun violence” and demand that congress “do something” (side note: lawsuit happening now because of this https://www.wweek.com/news/courts/2019/03/14/multnomah-county-gop-chairman-sues-portland-public-schools-over-gun-control-protests/ ).

2/18/18 https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/18/us/national-student-walkout-womens-march-trnd/index.html

They also organized an event to go to the Flordia state capital to lobby on 2/26/18.

97E70213-EA46-485E-8A42-A519AAE02B64

The Women’s March is a key link to this movement, and now we will get into March For Our Lives itself as an organization.

On 2/21/18, the March For Our Lives Action Fund applied to become a Not For Profit Corporation (just 7 days after the shooting!) and was filed in the state of Delaware (loosest NPC laws).

Lets concentrate on the highlighted name: Deena Katz.  Who is she? take a look:

Yep! A Hollywood producer, but lets dig deeper:

(EDIT 4/18/19: adding in the permit application and permit details for the 3/24/19 event in D.C.)

Notice the date on the application filed by Katz? 2/20/18. Only 6 days after the shooting.

Permit/event details:

https://www.nps.gov/aboutus/foia/upload/18-0710-March-For-Our-Lives-Permit-Issued_REDACTED.pdf

I think everyone gets the idea now about a pro planning the 3/24/18 march in DC, so lets move on to another person listed on the MFOL Action Fund board, Nina Vinik.

D745B7F6-4D29-4FE7-A3D9-6E7284A24D58

Nina leads Joyce’s grant making in support of evidence-based policies and practices to reduce gun deaths and injuries, improve police legitimacy and build police-community trust, and reduce mass incarceration in the United States. Under Nina’s direction, Joyce has funded some of the nation’s most significant research into the impact of state prevention strategies. She also has focused on developing broad stakeholder coalitions to advocate for policies to keep our communities safe.

Prior to joining the foundation in 2008, Nina, an attorney, served as Legal Director of Legal Community Against Violence (LCAV), a non-profit organization providing legal and technical assistance in support of gun violence prevention policy efforts nationwide. Her other experience includes serving as Director of the Litigation Assistance Partnership Project of the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation, Fair Housing Project Director of the Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, Inc., and Legal Director of the ACLU Foundation of Florida, Inc.  She also practiced law at the firm of Jenner & Block in Chicago.”

http://www.joycefdn.org/staff/nina-vinik

And wow, interesting. MFOL Action Fund was officially formed on 2/21/18 and look what we have here,  a rally cry for big money for the MFOL Action Fund board she sits on……….

934026A6-0130-4F3D-A10F-CB7FE9DA9ECC

This is a singularly American phenomenon. Around the world, nations have rates of bullying, mental illness, and nonlethal violence comparable to ours. But our rates of lethal violence are exponentially higher than in other developed countries. Why the disparity?

Because we are overrun with guns and have weak gun laws, making firearms easily available to those who shouldn’t have them.

The Parkland shooting seems to have lit a fire in many corners of our society. Students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, and from across the country, are standing up and making their voices heard. Corporations have broken ties with the National Rifle Association, which has opposed common-sense gun restrictions. This suggests a wave of attention and activism to reduce the violence and holds the promise of real change.

Now it’s time for philanthropy to step up. For too long, foundations and other donors steered clear of this public-health and public-safety crisis. Some were shying away from the political controversy; others feared the gun lobby. There are signs this may be starting to change, but there is much more grant makers can do if we care about reducing the violence and giving our children a safer future……….

Here are three ways foundations and other donors can move quickly to support efforts to prevent gun violence:

  • Support the young people who are standing up to demand change. Learn about the March for Our Lives, planned for March 24 in Washington, D.C., and across the country.

  • Learn more about the issue from experienced donors. The Fund for a Safer Future is a national collaborative of grant makers committed to reducing gun violence through effective public policies.

  • Foundations can support local and state efforts to prevent gun violence. For example, the Partnership for Safe and Peaceful Communities is addressing Chicago’s gun-violence crisis. And in California, the Hope and Heal Fund works on the issue at the state level.

Philanthropy can no longer sit on the sidelines. It’s time to choose: our kids, or our guns.

http://www.joycefdn.org/news/how-grant-makers-can-fight-gun-violence-now-and-over-the-long-haul

So, why is this piece important (other than the fact a philanthropy organization is getting invlolved in the movement)? Look who has ties to the Joyce Foundation:

https://www.politico.com/story/2008/04/obama-linked-to-gun-control-efforts-009722

The foundation funded legal scholarship advancing the theory that the Second Amendment does not protect individual gun owners’ rights, as well as two groups that advocated handgun bans. And it paid to support a book called “Every Handgun Is Aimed at You: The Case for Banning Handguns.”

Obama’s eight years on the board of the Joyce Foundation, which paid him more than $70,000 in directors fees, do not in any way conflict with his campaign-trail support for the rights of gun owners, Ben LaBolt, a spokesman for Obama’s presidential campaign, asserted in a statement issued to Politico this week.

LaBolt stressed that the foundation, which has assets of about $935 million, doesn’t take “detailed policy positions,” but rather uses its grants to “fuel a dialogue about how to address public policy issues like reducing gun violence.”

That’s right! Barack Obama. More on Joyce and their gun control here:

http://www.joycefdn.org/programs/gun-violence

The last piece of the early days is the Broward Schools superintendent, Robert Runcie. Did you know he got his start in Chicago (but wasn’t chosen to be the CEO of Chicago Public Schools)?

https://www.chicagoreporter.com/choosing-chicagos-next-schools-ceo-robert-runcie-timothy-knowles-john-white/

Runcie was trained at the Broad Center (part of the Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation).

F7A42EC2-CFD0-4DBF-9446-5F989370E3C7

Robert Runcie – An unconventional path

This important for 3 reasons:

1. Where do you think the failed Promise Program got it’s origins?

https://www.broadcenter.org/blog/the-real-promise-of-broward-countys-promise-program/

2. Linking to the above, Eli Broad (Runcie was trained by his organization, remember) donated $1,000,000 to MFOL in the early days.

The movement has big backers locally, including from billionaire Eli Broad ($1 million), George and Amal Clooney ($500,000), Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw ($500,000) and Jeffrey and Marilyn Katzenberg ($500,000).

http://cbslocal.com/2018/03/24/march-for-our-lives-los-angeles-stoneman-douglas-sixth-and-spring/

3. He met his pal Arne Duncan there (Obama’s former Secretary of Education) and guess who sent him (Runcie) to Broward County?

https://stateimpact.npr.org/florida/2015/07/30/a-q-a-with-federal-education-secretary-arne-duncan/

First of all, you have two fantastic superintendents. Alberto’s [Carvalho] doing a great job there in Miami-Dade, and I’m very biased, but Bob Runcie and I worked together in Chicago, I’m a huge fan of his. I think he’s fantastic. I actually just left him a few minutes ago at the Urban League conference.”

After the shooting, Runcie immediately started to make the focus on guns, not the failure of the district’s promise program

https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/broward/article200993044.html

Runcie has had little time to grieve. In a single afternoon, he was thrust into the national spotlight, where he went from being superintendent of the nation’s sixth largest school district to a vocal proponent of stricter gun control laws — and a critic of the lawmakers who he says have “fallen short” when it comes to preventing school shootings.

“This moment is a moment where I feel that the victims’ lives, those that were injured, the community that has been hurt by this, that all of this can’t be in vain,” he said. “We don’t have sensible gun laws or appropriate investments in mental health services. It’s not one or the other. We need both.

He even went on CNN during the town hall event after the shooting tontalk about it (and plead for more money for teachers).

(NOTE: FULL CNN TOWN HALL HERE)

Brother of Meadow Pollack (a victim that was killed) was not allowed to speak because the event organizers either forgot to add him or cut him from the lineup:

This is what he and Royer Borges (father of Anthony Borges, a hero that survived the shooting and by his actions saved many lives) had to say:

D50132B4-1F06-4B65-844A-B6BD8E57A608

Now back to Runcie.

He also marched with March For Our Lives on 3/24/18:

E89AC7AE-8B1E-4FEF-95F2-3C1245B3AA24

So why  does it matter that Runcie is connected to Arne Duncan and is out there advocating for gun control? See this exchange that happened between Arne and Former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel after the 2012 Sandy Hook massacre. Agenda Agenda Agenda.

44A235BB-DB7C-4E81-98BF-CF178E8F9722

Runcie needed the heat off of him for his failures, and so after the shooting (and with support from local politicians, the media, big donors), Runcie chose to hop on the gun control bandwagon. Additional evidence of groups using the tragedy (MSD) to make it political (from 2/22/18. Make sure you see that March For Our Lives was involved in the email):

That email was first sent out by a gentleman named David DeChant

Author and Marine Vietnam Veteran for Peace member David DeChant said he was proud of the students that have acted.

“Seeing so many young people is incredible,” he said. “They understand people power.”

They took his advice it seems. Please read the email, as it sheds light on the tactics they used (and still do).

Not all people thought the talk should be about gun control though. This is from less than a day after the shooting and was sent to the Prinicpal of MSD (funny how this wasn’t talked about, as a VERY valid point was made):

F13323FE-B28D-435C-A2FF-FEC52D44D1AC

This is all only the beginning (lots of information, isn’t it). In the next segment, we will discuss the aftermath of the 3/24/18 National March and the “Road to Change” tour (which like the Women’s March, also targeted the midterms). That is where things get really dirty and deceitful.

Stay Tuned 😁

……..but before you go, see this:

Michael Bloomberg’s Everytown For Gun Safety hosted the event and sponsored all of the marches worldwide. Link here:

Care for a laugh? An event was hosted in Mozambique (which has an AK-47 on its national flag😂😂😂😂. Can’t make this stuff up)……

Looks Like Allies Of Moms Demand Action Are Starting To Tire Of Them

As you can see, earlier this year Moms Demand Action members in Kane County were pressuring city council members and mayors to declare a specific day in June as “Gun Violence Awareness Day” 🙄. More documents related to this drop at a later date, but as you can see, even their former “friends” in local governments are realizing they have gone off the deep end with their antics/requests and what they are asking for would “open a political can of worms”.

While these officials are not friends to the 2nd amendment (more later), they’re obviously pushing back against them because their requests are getting out of hand at times, and they’re (mayors) even having to make it “clear” to MDA members that a mayor isn’t a dictator that can just go around city council and do whatever they want. Seems that the moms believe their friends in office should be doing whatever they are told to do by them (what are they, mobsters cashing in on a “favor”)…..

Matt Deitsch: The Gun Grabbing “Racist” (and further evidence of gun control hypocrisy added 4/14/19)

We all know about the group March For Our Lives and their crusade to ban semi-automatic rifles, magazines that hold more than 10 rounds, etc etc. We also know that they veered WAAAAAY of course from the intitial purpose of the group (gun control after the 2/14/18 Parkland shooting) and started taking on the role of a one-size-fits-all activist group for “the young people”.

Let’s discuss one of the group’s leaders: Co-founder and chief strategist Matt Deitsch-

305F95AA-DC0F-424A-AD79-63D21EED065C

And his background

As you can see, he prides himself in his accomplishments and sees what he is doing as “saving lives” (gun control). He also is/was pursuing a career in the entertainment/media industry. After getting more “famous”, opportunities arose for him and Michael Skolnik of the SOZE Agency took him (and the other activists as well) under his wing (that’s all a story for another day). Take a look at some of SOZE’s clients

https://www.wearesoze.com/#our-clients

Now, let’s get to the point: Matt became an outspoken critic of racism. Here are a few examples:

He even accused then candidate (now seated) Florida Governor Ron DeSantis of racism when he used a widely known term

8B6E1E2A-0385-4EC0-A771-03DC81017AA7

And for some reason, he posted this as well to attack the NRA

E318710F-7520-46D8-8DFE-C24DE3F1CEEC

He also held events with Black Lives Matter (see background)

B2A66C9B-B53A-44D3-8EF0-0A29D6BA33D1

So you would think that this young man (was not a student at MSD when the shooting occurred, he graduated prior) has a history of upstanding character and fighting for what’s right. Well, no. He has a history of racist posts, mainly this one, which describes “true love” as an African American man and chicken wings

Shocking, isn’t it? A young man is swooped up by professional activists and used to promote an agenda (well, many agendas actually) to serve their purpose (such as dismantling the 2nd amendment) all while not truly having a credible history in the areas he is fighting. He did apologize the other day, but it seems more like “oh damn, I’m caught and can’t run from it anymore” rather than an apology

So with that, a question remains: Do we forgive  and move on? Or do we take a page out of their book (Re: Kavanaugh hearings) and, as they say, #NeverAgain let things they do (such as this) slide?

UPDATE!!!!!!

It appears he is done reflecting on his racism (minor leave of absence, as he stated lol) and is back out promoting unconstitutional  red flag laws

AD51691D-7BC3-49E4-AE13-16E175C4A413

Addition 4/14/19: I’m adding this is as well, as it further shows the hypocrisy of gun control groups and their spokesmen.  Please view these

Looks like Matt and his handlers missed this part

You all starting to see how phony these people are yet?

In Response To The Flak Caught From Yesterday’s Release (Rep. Schneider/Shannon Watts Document Especially)

In response, we’d like to share this (goes with yesterday’s article due to the tie in with Shannon Watts and Congressman Schneider). First email is from a student (15 years old at the time) that Moms Demand Action is grooming/using to spread word of their cause to other students. Then comes 2 Freedom Of Information Act  documents. As you can see, Moms Demand Action is promising resources/connections, letters of recommendation, and as you see, providing notes/talking points (laughable too). Recipient is blacked out because he is a student/minor). District 125 was unaware of this activity and does not condone it. The”rally” in the last photo is the one mentioned in yesterday’s article.

A Congressman, Shannon Watts, and Special Interest Groups Galore Reach Out To And Use High School District 214 For Their Purpose

-Moms Demand Action recruiting willing teachers/principals/students for a special discussion board they put together

-Disctrict staff that are members of Moms Demand Action using the district email system to recruit/advertise for them (big no no, as it is not school related. Luckily, some staff realized that)

-Moms Demand Action area leader soliciting the district for students (possible new recruits) to attend a Students Demand Action “kickoff” event (new chapter), in which Congress Brad Schneider and Shannon Watts (Moms Demand Action founder, before merging with Bloomberg’s Mayors Against Illegal Guns to form Everytown’s For Gun Safety) would attend. Event listed here as well. Event was “hosted” by a political party (10th district Democrats)

Students Demand Action Kick-off Event to Help Prevent Gun Violence

The two (Brad and Shannon) obviously work together

https://m.facebook.com/CongressmanBradSchneider/posts/1973230719426585

-Outside special interest groups providing materials to school staff in order to promote/advertise their cause (March For Our Lives) and register students to vote

-Disctrict employees taking sides in political agendas while using district email system

And more

It’s a lot of documents, but well worth reading them, especially considering how involved the district was with Moms Demand Action (a registered political lobbying group (Everytown) that fights locally and nationally to restrict our 2nd amendment rights). This is a public school district. Your tax dollars hard at work……

McHenry County Politcal Party Leaders (And A Candidate At The Time, Now Seated) Used A Public School To Recruit For A Party Event

Additional evidence  (more documents and evidence) that political operatives in McHenry county, IL, used a public school (Woodstock district 200) to attempt to recruit for an event that was organized by the party, in which they could have financially benefited. Flyers that were in email (main one) along with with an additional email (from a CC’d individual) who was running for a county board seat at the time (she won).

No matter what your political opinions are, political operatives are not allowed to be in public schools (taxpayer funded), as it violates ethics standard set forth in IL law (Public Acts 93-615 and 93-617).

Published article on these findings here (I wonder who made that quote at the end 😉)

https://mchenrytimes.com/stories/512291496-in-possible-ethics-breach-mchenry-county-dems-conspired-with-teachers-to-recruit-students-for-anti-gun-rally?fbclid=IwAR2HINroJ_wq6YBfIOtwxvd_kpCKJ2i8fpVV3rbj3bLhmXy6EqQ5-VyHYhI

(Note: We do not target political parties. We are non-partisan. If certain leaders in the McHenry county Democratic Party (and a now seated board member) would have never attempted to use the school and the children inside it as politcal pawns, this would have never surfaced and nothing controversial would have come of their event event (other than we all know it was not the kids from Parkland that put the national movement together. It was immediately hi-jacked by the Joyce Foundation, the Women’s March, and agitator Michael Skolnik). Their ethics breach is on them and them alone).

Geneva, Illinois: Want to see how involved a city government will get with Moms Demand Action? See these (especially the last document).

When anti-Constitution special interest groups “own the town”…..

Hanging out at a parade and wanting to buy a shirt, giving speaking preference at city council meetings, granting a request for POLICE PROTECTION at publicly held meetings (because 2nd amendment supporters are just so awful and don’t deserve 1st amendment rights either🙄. See last document). Kevin Burns, Mayor Of Geneva, is the perfect puppet.

How to submit a Freedom of Information Act Request

It’s very simple! Some states may require fees before releasing the requested docs, which could be pricey if the search isn’t narrow enough. ALWAYS REQUEST DOCUMENTS BE SUBMITTED BACK TO YOU VIA PDF/SIMILAR FORMAT in order to save on the costs.

Step 1: Pick a location (example: Smallville, Illinios)

Step 2: Search in a search engine the body of government you wish to FOIA (Example: Smallville, IL Park District FOIA Request)

Step 3: Complete the required form (submit back via email), or use the provided email address (would be listed) to submit your request (some bodies do not require a formal written request and can be done just by sending an email).

Example of request:

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening,

I would like to submit a Freedom of Information Act request for the following:

All Email communication between Smallville Park District employees and the Smallville Police department regarding the event held at xxxxx on xx/xx/xxxx at the Park Disrict building located at 123 Washington street.

This is a personal request and not for commercial purposes. If there is any clarification needed or any questions that are needed to fulfill the request, you can contact me at xxx-xxx-xxxx or by email at xxxxxx@xxxxx.com. Thank you for your assistance with this matter.

Sincerely,

(Your Name)

That’s as simple as it is in most cases. As taxpayers, you have the right to see what government employees and elected officials are communicating (while using government provided communication systems). Happy FOIA’ing!
